  1. I'll send him a message and get him to either check this thread or turn up tonight.
  2. You should see him fairly often and I'll see what I can do about making the visits more frequent.
  3. He was introduced to me as Sam and I never thought to ask. He rides a zoot with orange HS33s. Sucks that we missed you but then again at least you (hopefully) missed the rain.
  4. I was riding in Worthing last weekend with a friend called Sam who's just moved to the town. We ran into a couple of local lads down on the sea front.
  5. If you want truly ridiculous. http://www.enduroman.com/archtoarc.html
  6. Your frame has inbuilt tensioners and doesn't need snail cams. Turn the frame upside down and look at where the dropout is welded to the frame. There is a hole with a bolt running from front to the back of the dropout. Turn the bolt and it will push into the dropout slot. Picture 4 on the link below shos the bolt protruding into the dropout. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_frames/echo_pure_2011_with_bb/c14p11476.html
  7. Can't beat a nice bit of deep water soloing. Climbings like cycling, so many different sub-genres. It's awesome.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_O9PLorYPA&feature=related Bear in mind the Niner fork in the video is a lightweight 29er cross country fork. And that's fatigue testing for a road bike fork. Built and tested properly I'd have no concerns with using carbon forks for Trials.
  9. http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2007/06/14/tonic-water-eas/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbonated_water TL:DR Tonic water contains "Quinine" which is very good at alleviating cramps but not without risk as it can cause a potentially deadly blood disorder. There are also some links between carbonated liquids and bone loss, meaning that carbonated drinks may lead to increased chances of fractured/broken bones. The scientific community is still undecided on this point however.
  10. Is there any form of a hard shell in there or is it just foam padding inside the cap?
  11. I'm a rock climber too. This is the best stuff that I've found to date: http://www.lush.co.uk/shop/product/product/id/642/keyword/ultrabalm/ultrabalm
  12. That's tasty. Two questions; What length & rake fork were those dimensions measured with? Are you likely to do a rear magura version?
  13. The street in the start of that video was filmed for "Brighton Ain't ready" well before his accident last year.
  14. That's terrible, you'd better let me take it off your hands and dispose of it.
  15. Disk rim just refers to a rim not having a normal breaking surface. Swapping to a disk rim will cost money and provide zero benefit, it will also mean you'd need to change wheel should you choose to go back to a rim break at any time. I believe the Fatty R have a standard mount so a #5 caliper would allow you to use a 160 rotor. You may want to verify this bit though. Beaten to it.
  16. What kind of bashring are you using with those Ali?
  17. Surely the next stage of Shimano's mountain bike groupsets will be based upon their Dura-ace Di2 electronic groupset.
  18. Monty Python, life of Brian. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1loyjm4SOa0
  19. No. Go start your own thread to be quoted in.
