  1. I'd go with a 70x35, I used the System Ex one from Tarty on my Fourplay before getting a shiny Hope one... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=609
  2. Had an pretty epic weekend, and I spent most of it in a tent! Knew it would get sorted, congrats!
  3. Black stickers over the keys? Cheapish and reversable.
  4. ...or take a kamikaze approach and load up on additional subjects so they let you in, then just fail the ones that don't matter? Might not make you look good though... I have to say that the English education system is a little backward...
  5. Can you not go to college part time to just to do AS Media Studies (and other other courses that are required for uni)? Seems a little silly to me...try and have a 1-to-1 meeting at a local college? There must be something they can sort out...
  6. Have you been on the phone to your local colleges? I'd suggest getting on the phone now or trying to arrange a meeting. I'm sure there is some allocation for late enrolment. Or maybe that's just a Scottish thing, we're nice up here.
  7. Like you I have just updated the address on my driving licence and have similar dates for Cat A and I've never applied for any sort of bike licence. I'm guesssing you'll still need to do a bike test. Check out this link: https://www.gov.uk/driving-licence-categories Edit: Are there any codes in column 12? If so check this link too: https://www.gov.uk/driving-licence-codes
  8. Been having a right old giggle at these videos, check out the rest of the videos on his channel!
  9. Just ride about with the bolts out I'm sure they'll work themselves loose after bit...
  10. Those Pimplites were a complete balls ache to source! It was around the time that Atomlab pretty much stopped making a lot of 24" rims and almost everywhere was sold out or awaiting new stock.
  11. I kinda love that car too, looks like a complete banger. That tartan rug on the back seat is probably the best 'modification' to the car!
  12. That section looks completely impossible to do without tabbing, even in the dry...
  13. Great video there! Last bail looked like a sore one!
  14. Was due to find out my HND result today, but because of two lazy bastards on the course (yes, I am lazy but I handed everything in on time) weren't prepared to do their presentations on Tuesday we all need to wait until next Wednesday to get the results as they are doing their presentations next Tuesday... I am annoyed. ...but on the plus side everything else in my life is on the up compared to where I was a few months ago
  15. I used to burn them, terrible ugly looking things...
  16. I wouldn't be too worried about only have USB 2.0, things will just take a little longer to transfer if you are using external drives. You could always use the FireWire instead.
  17. I've got some 26" Trialtech Disc forks (steerer is uncut and is 200mm) that I'd be willing to part with for some cash. Although the drop outs have been filed a little bit to fit 10mm axles...
  18. Hays Rey, Ryan Leech & Chris Akrigg to name a few But in answer to the OP, a road stem is not okay for trials. (Of any kind!)
  19. It's a good idea, but we'd need a few more active mods for when you're not here!
  20. Driver okay apparently!
  21. I think I need to change where I shop, worth the 10 minute drive across town? But, back on topic...I just had a group interview for a 'civil servant' position and there were five of us in a group and we did three different activities. Two of them were more teamwork based so were looking at how you work with others and the last one was a group discussion. Nick pretty much hit it on the head, put your opinion over but also listen to others and be proactive if there is any teamwork related activities. Oh and don't stress about it on the day, try and have some fun and it will help you be more outgoing and less of a wall flower!
  22. Probably a good call, make focusing that little bit faster, either that or set to manual and always aim for the same point.
  23. I thought that posting it myself would be a bit cheeky, everyone loves their own bikes
