  1. get out there, get smashed, have a sniff about and get your end away, and have a f**king good time doing it. worked for me
  2. I would have one of these
  3. I've got one, but its the standard compound, not the super tacky. still quite grippy though, although I'm on moto diggers front and rear cos I think it's a bit heavy
  4. use solvent degreaser, give it a right good blathering and set it on fire. should burn all the shite off the surface. then get a piece of 400 grit sand paper, use a flat surface and do a wax on wax off motion to just sort the braking area out. then install and bed in
  5. if you want an old school echo stock stem for free, think its 110 x 10, pm me your address and I'll post it to you for nowt
  6. trialtech high rise and a system ex 90x35 stem, as this frame looks quite streety
  7. if you gonna do the comp andee, I would hazard a guess you are about blue route level, or maybe even green cos nationals are a lot harder than normal tykes. that's my advice anyway dude
  8. yes lad. this was my first mobile as well. on orange back in the day. got naff all for a fiver.
  9. get a torx head bit that will grip the hex part, or dremel a slot into the top of the bolt so you can get a screwdriver in it. try warming up the frame, GENTLY though. the ally will expand faster than the steel, providing you dont go mental your heat treating won't be affected. whilst warming up try turning the bolt at the same time
  10. take the brake off your bike and Do it in a sink full of water so no air can get back in. push water in from both ends making sure all air comes out. worked for me every time. like a bath bleed but not if you know what I mean
  11. I got my first one when I was 16. am nearly 31 now. had a Motorola fort first, big horrible brick thing
  12. us old uns remember this well. you bloody youths of today are too used to technology. scared of fresh air. I hate phones, mine never bloody stops ringing or going off. only got one cos I don't have a laptop anymore

pads: heatsink red compound in tnn backings rim: dmr dv 24 brake: 04 hs 33 with water/antifreeze bleed, no booster with echo Cnc clamps grind: yes, medium definition of a working brake: loads of bite and enough noise to knock the warts off a granny I got these pads off a fellow rider, and compared to the onza pads I had before, they are in a different league. these absolutely do not slip. easily the best pads I've ever had, held me on the point of a 4ft high wall with no slippage. think my tyre would slip before these pads do. epic braking power
  15. can't beat having a chod on your own trap after days away. it's the best feeling in the world. how was the bike with those tyres dude
  16. many thanks for that dude, when I see you a pint is coming your way
  17. secondhand inspired fourplay frame, echo Cnc brake clamps, tnn backings, and a jiffy bag full of heatsink pad material
  18. I run a vee on my 24, and it's like riding into a brick wall when you pull the lever in, such is the bite and power. and it always holds, never lets go. and feels well solid
  19. I remember this, I was there. don't think Andee's curve is gonna snap, if you knew its history and origin. and dans had been hammered for a long time, and remember looking at the crack at the time, it looked like metal fatigue caused by a dent, not just a crack.
  20. did the dude have a dick turpin mask on? bet he was laughing like f**k when it came to pay up time
  21. I always found shimanos to be spongy in feel, and very prone to air locks when bleeding. I used to run a juicy 7 on my zoo, never had any trouble. ran a shimano deore on my jump bike, was never happy with it.
  22. am coming now, should be there sat afternoon am coming now, should be there sat afternoon
  23. mines a cable and outer that came off my old dmr drone, so it's not even new or owt. it better with fresh pads, these are a bit old now.
  24. I did my Ashton with nitromors, a power washer and a drill with a wire brush attachment. then I hand finished it with wire wool. if you want it mega shiny, you are gonna have to hand polish it with autosol or summat like it. or just get it chromed lol
