  1. Aren't they £40 on Tarty anyway? Unless they're the expensive version but they only have 3mm of extra offset whereas echo cranks have 6mm of extra offset.
  2. I have a trialtech BB with 127.5mm axle. Also does anyone know if the middleburn cranks have changed at all in the last few years so I could check the offset as mine are fairly old.
  3. Right here you go, had to use my phone so probably not great quality. First of all heres the clear side. Then heres the side thats catching. From above. And with crank below.
  4. Ok the grinding idea might work but I'll just check again and try and get a pic or two. I think quite a bit would have to be removed to make it clear.
  5. So guys I recently got fed up with my old frame, an onza t-rex, who wouldn't like. Anyway I saw a neon bow frame for sale on here and promptly bought it for a good deal I must say. Thank you Seabasss for that. So I then also had to get snail cams as my old one had a tensioner. This was fine as I knew I needed one. Then when it arrived I realised that my old frame had an internal headset and the bow needs an external one so I had to buy a new headset and I bought a new stem at the same time to compensate for the different geometry. Sooo today I finally got round to putting everything onto the frame and when putting on my expensive middleburn cranks I found that the crank hits off the frame on one side and barely clears it on the other side. This clearly isn't going to work. Also I just bought a new BB a few weeks ago when my old one snapped and the new axle is pretty much as wide as you can get. So am I going to have to get new cranks to make it work? I really don't want to because I've pretty much spent all my money on everything else. Advice please..
  6. They grip well in the dry but not in the wet. I've had mine for a few months now and the tread is still going strong, you wouldn't know it was old at all.
  7. I would consider them to be a very streety/dirt jumper tyre. They seem to have a fair amount of grip but nothing compared to try-all stickys or anything like that. They should be fine for the front of a fourplay assuming you run high enough psi.
  8. I run them on the front and rear and yes they are very pinch flat prone and I use DH tubes. They have very little rolling resistance so you can roll very far with little effort backwards or whatever you want to do. If you like low psi so you can get good bounce then I wouldn't recommend them as you will puncture them unless you're very smooth and never hit edges hard at all.
  9. Did anyone else think of Minecraft when they saw this thread? Also sorry for the stupid post not contributing to helping you.
  10. Daaaaaam, that fakie nose manual move at about 3.01. wow.
  11. Darn right that was cool
  12. Interesting, I didn't know there was that calibre of riders in Ireland. Maybe they were imported for the show.
  13. Not a bad little course. Unfortunately as much as I love that song, in trials vids it's overused. Thats my only problem, otherwise good riding.
  14. Well it's hit nearly 1.5 million views in less than two days. I think it's only going to grow faster and faster. Maybe 4 million views by next week. Any takers?
  15. Well if your into that sort of thing....... I don't recommend taking up that hobby. Anyway I don't really have any useful advice on painting so I'm going to stay out of it. Oops too late.
  16. Luminous pink, will go great.
  17. Very observant of you. Seriously though in my case at least I think it's the useless clamp that I have. It's a standard magura clamp with the plastic washers. No stripped threads, bolts are very tight. I line it up correctly and after a while of riding the whole cylinder moves so that the pad hits the tyre. I've pretty much given up fixing it so going to try a new clamp as already said. Anyway thats probably what your problem is Ewan. If it isn't not sure what else would cause or fix it.
  18. Yeah how does that happen. Also on a similar topic, I've somehow snapped a spoke on my rear rim, I know it's not a serious problem as I've been riding it for a while as is but should I get it fixed soon? I'm not doing huge drops but would lots of smallish ones over time cause damage to it? I mean something I've done must have snapped the spoke.
  19. I have the same problem and my bolts are as tight as I can get them. I'm gonna buy a new echo clamp and see if that solves the problem.
  20. Yeah not sure what all the fuss is about, I run standard echo disks and pads and they lock amazing, never had a problem with them slipping but then I did bed them in correctly.
  21. My mate has a 24" neon bow that weighs under 9kg. Under 8kg for a stock is going pretty darn good.
  22. Whoa your playing a dangerous game there. Best case scenario is if you aren't in the room when all the toxic fumes fill it up when the paint melts away. Then your tyres will burst and any other rubber/plastic parts will ignite from the heat. If your still not dead then when all the bearings explode from the heat they'll shoot out like shotgun pellets and that'll finish you off. Now that it's there you'll have to wait 10 hours for it to cool down before it's safe to touch.
  23. Pretty cool moves but even more impressive was the location. Wish we had somewhere like that over here. Seemed to cater for everything.
