  1. tf is a f**king brainstorming utility
  2. isnt it just the description of a "#"? i mean like saying "apostrophe" or something
  3. bwahahahaha! thats so 1988! edit:if you watch it for a min or so its getting funny
  4. damn, you´ve made me dig my nirvana albums out now! about a girl, lithium, and, come as you are, sick! edit:just noticed my lifes soundtrack is a pretty weird mix of grunge, metal, techno, hip hop and even jazz haha. to give an example:dave brubeck quartet-three to get ready,my personal "good mood" sound for the ride home from work
  5. i´d prefer DIXX,would remind us of the old brand
  6. yeah,a classic. we weren´t supposed to post tracks as isitafox said, but someone else broke the rule,so.... first time i heard that was in a club looking similar to the one in the vid lol i was 16 (knew people to get into that club which normally was allowed at 18yrs)and getting into the rave/triphop thing full on just gave myself that through my onkyo system, still intense as hell sorry isitafox (A)
  7. sorry to post again.thats exactly what a group of scientists found out:you or me (or everyone,if theyre right )like the music we like because it matches our brains brainwave pattern! looking to find that study, was an awesome read... edit:damn,it was in german
  8. exactly what i experienced.i think its mainly what the music is linked to in your mind.for example:i am married and settled, its 20 years ago but theres a certain track that was a "our song" with my first girlfriend, and it still brings feelings to the surface, even that its not present anymore,i am not interested in even how my first girlfriend is,i dont care. think the brain does build links to areas in the brain where feelings grow, and this is saved for life. (lymbic system) another track makes me aggressive no end, without being aggressive in its style or genre, but i know why,and its a topic i dont care about now, too. our brain isnt developed for media right now,too much hunting and killing left edit:and hey,my rave time:westbam,dj hooligan(aka da hool),prodigys gilted generation album, wow, still make my day those! pure happiness from those i get, young skywalker... edit 2:damn spelling mistakes, wtf is usic?in that context:uzic radio, check out!
  9. 3 things on your to-do list: -get drunk, badly -get laid -get the bike fixed and ride again,i´m sure it´ll help your mental state for me tose 3 work best
  10. it simply lowers the friction between tyre and tube, tube can "move relatively freely" inside the tyre and tends to get away with no pinch flat when being hit. hope that makes sense
  11. firstly welcome to tf! then thank you for posting the vid,it isnt the official,is it? edit:and thank god it has music instead of that shouting guy
  12. just bought an echo tr lever from another forum for 10.-posted,slightly leaking from the start, hence never used properly. we all know its not a problem, just polishing and o-rings,yay
  13. punch out, yeah. if you can find a ratchet nut with the exact diameter of the bearings outer ring you can knock them in without damage,if you do it carefully. best would be 2 nuts and a vice though
  14. unvoluntary courtesy of trashzen those rocking movements on the bars did it for me
  15. i have the same tube now since more than a year, altering the pressure will bring no success if the tyre is just too un-stiff imo.
  16. i think if you use a "normal" crankset as a lhd setup with a screw-on cog it´ll kill all of your threads.your sprocket would be forced to unscrew all the time you got chainload applied.a lockring would be simply rip your threads of when pushed outwards with a lhd hub and sprocket maybe, but then its still the pedal thread problem...
  17. why would you do this? it´ll unscrew itself.while pedalling.
  18. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi this and the wear of the tools plus the fact a thread is never right angled :wink2: theres a production tolerance for every component, and they all meet at one point of the crank rotation edit:i hope its obvious that i am joking 50/50,clearly it has to do with pi at a maximum of a few 1000th mm. just a little twat avoidance
  19. next topic will probably be "riding in blue socks" or similar... edit:but to say something on topic, everybody´s alone in the moment he/she´s riding...confucius says
  20. if my wife would say "me or your bike",i´d miss her much! ;)

  21. i am just riding and not thinking about where my feet are. some situations force me to have the wrong foot forward though, like doing a tailwhip.after this my bad foot is forwards in most cases. everyone has a dominant body half, distracting your brain doesnt help your riding imo
  22. joke! see,i am german and seem to have to write the word "joke" behind every joke i make, because they dont get it otherwise... joke...
  23. you´ll silence that shouting guy with a good soundtrack,no?
  24. fixed wasnt it clear that the sentence you quoted was a joke?
  25. you´ll happily invest 40€ in repairing a hub that will last years after that without the need to be repaired again, like with a hope nowadays. but its kind of weird to explain to the customer that repairing his hub,if it was an old one, would be more expensive in labour than just banging in a whole new gearing unit, which is literally the whole hub without a shell,if it was a new one.but having problems again in a foreseeable time again, due to the quality hope it makes sense this way
