  1. what does "modified" mean, idf you dont mind me asking? looks awesome btw
  2. you wouldnt dare to build a trialsy bike with a seat, its taboooooo edit:that reminds me i have to take better pics also, bah
  3. my colour has been cloned and i think leon is talking about mine,358 is insane
  4. at the beginning of my trials "career" i was riding my very first marino,it was built after an ns bikes "holy" mixed with an inspired fourplay mk1.(turned out the skye being the same geo later lol) was riding street/park back then,so i had a disc brake.was a shimano xt 785,everything shimano,180 rotor rt66. after a few weeks of just backwheelhopping and stuff the first adapter gave in,it snapped right in its center part where the material is the thinnest, leading to the caliper mounting eye facing to the front of the bike snapping also. put everything new on the bike, caliper, disc, adapter.thought it was because the brake was fairly old,so i chose the same brake again. after a few weeks, same sh*t. long story short, magura since then and never looked back (but hey,you wanted details )
  5. dont want to make you afraid, but when my brakes failed, they failed at the adapter. i say beefy before pimp
  6. holy sh that was so good, cant describe.
  7. now if that isnt glazed , nor bedded in properly
  8. for me that sounds like the pads went "glassy"(dont know how you brits call it) just take some 360 grit sandpaper and sand pads and rotors matte, then bed it in again. you can confirm this checking the contact surface of the pads, shiny is bad
  9. nice to watch, but regarding our sport i've never seen anything more pointless than this, except the guy who rode trials on a shovel edit:spelling
  10. wipeout freak here. also: tenchu-stealth assassin. sonic the hedgehog was way earlier, still got the music from the casino level in my head sometimes hahaha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGUESFqPGhI i also got an old complete commodore 64 and an amiga maniac mansion, zak mckrakn, loom, monkey island, how 'bout that?
  11. i think that was caelifera
  12. i saw those frames coming up back then, and obviously what i thought was "wtf". nice to see some retro trials parts stay alive in this quick times, bikelooks great!
  13. you need an onza "toothfairy" bash on there,so you can tell people its called moth because its eating your jeans
  14. that looks amazing! despite the fact streetbikes nowadays look like they've been ridden into a wall whats the headangle, 75° ?
  15. 5 people more quoting all that pics and the first chrome crashes will appear hahaha
  16. the new disc mounts are great (cant be seen in your pics though) i really like the look of that bike
  17. ah,okay, metalflake effect, nice for the graphics,+1,thats the reason i always choose the custom airbrush ones i designed.customers can send marino his/her own design as a pic or text file and he'll plot them out of vinyl and use the negative as a spray mask. that airbrush option is absolutely worth the extra $$$, stickers that peel off over time make me angry
  18. yeah, and you never posted a pic of that green popping out
  19. as i understand it its 1050/50 for the "old" one,and 1070/70 for the new one.just lazyness refreshing the shop pages maybe? things change from model year to model year, nothing special.for pure trials 1070/70 is the better combination anyways,so imo they just did some adjustments to that
  20. if you go for magura or other rim brakes like 12-16 bar if you want to run disc up to 40 to 60 bar hydraulic pressure. to be honest alu isnt a good material for a hydraulic hose, you would need like a wallthickness of 3mm for it to last ages and it would weight multiple times more than a vinyl hose edit:maybe 1.8mm with rim brakes, about triple the weight of a vinyl hose though
  21. actually i've seen one snapped marino fork until now.t'was a polo fork which the owner ran on a street bike
  22. op might want to use bikecad.ca for his geo experiments.use it on an everyday base and its awesome
  23. i think you could build it for an adult wheelsize,24 or something nah, joking, just liked to add that theres no way for a disc brake between the stays other than having a bent seatstay, which looks plain weird looking forward to seeing this happen.
