  5. to be fair i never felt the need for the supertacky compound, running the 60a ones and never lost grip yet. for stems, its personal preference really, everyone and his mother seems to get on with 150x30 though i got a 175x35 on my 24,getting used to it right now,but so far it feels nice and bunnyhoppish.what everyone says isnt your guideline, what suits you is
  6. bonus level with rocks and frames to knock on each other? nah, just kidding, awesome work, mate!really impressed!
  7. all i captured on sd during my holidays in spain. from 9am till 5pm it was like living in an oven, and rest of the time i was able to manage some riding, but still way too hot. sorry it's landed here,no need for a thread
  8. simtras had other dropouts. hmmm...
  9. i meant the situations where you turn the master piston tpa wheel and notice one piston getting closer to the rim and the other doesnt move(every magura owner knows this issue ) you could fine tune the pad distance without sacrificing pad wear adjustment at the lever.
  10. looks promising! the allen bolts on the sides of the slaves do have a "firmtech style adjustment" look to me,that would be awesome. once you clamped your slaves down fiddling is over, just turn in a bolt to get your pads near to the rim. i could be wrong with it being that way though :)but even a bolt that holds the piston in and offers a way to disassemble the slave would be great imo
  11. that pipeguy is awesome, made my day
  12. i thinkit was understandable what i meant
  13. just noticed my dsp boards digital input died, the analog passthrough and prologic simulation works though.dammit but, surprisingly the 2.1 sound i have now is a lot bassheavier than it was before any opinins on quadraphonic setups?even worth the hassle? never used my "speakers B" button before haha(as mentioned onkyo tx ds575)
  14. just take a random metal tube thats like 32 to 34mm in inner diameter, put your crown race on the steerer, the tube on top(one thats long enough to stand over the steerer) and hammer it down with gently strokes. the tool in our workshop is nothing else than a metal tube with a cap on top.
  15. my mate robert does "rollbunnies" at about 70cm,but he cant pedal up that height,i am the exact opposite,i can pedal up to the mid 70s easily but cant bunnyhop over 50 for sh*t. the funny thing with this is that heś riding a stock and me a 24,so one would expect it to be vice versa
  16. just to add my totally unnecessary 2 ct,if you use antifreeze you'll have to flush it out first, the antifreeze stuff is most likely glycol based so it will make some kind of foam together with the remaining oil. you dont want foam because its compressable.which means your finger power will go nowhere but into the bubbles (different densities will always feel squishy despite the bubbles not being consisting of air)
  17. i am going to ride in half an hour.thank god edit:in the rain probably, heard some thunder.dammit
  18. nice riding, your pads sound like the ones i make, which are they?
  19. the last few pages of this thread are either a medium size hoax or someone will have to edit a lot of posts once he gets out of the pusslirium
  20. so,obviously both david and my pads survived the world cup. kind of making me happy, yes.
  21. no,their platform, means the standing surface is actually 90x100mm,just measured mine for you. theyre concave also, means they taper down from 24 to 17mm
