  1. have you posted my wheel yet?

  2. just awesome, my jaw was on the floor throughout! the level of control you have on the rear wheel and in general is unreal for brakeless, i literally can't get my head round it you're an inspiration. end of.
  3. this. dragged my junk into the booster on my old t-pro once, wasn't all that funny at the time though!
  4. my bad, i didn't look at the pictures closely enough now i want it even more!
  5. looks good, you might want to consider moving the footpegs to the main frame instead of the swingarm to improve the rear suspension action still cool though, i wish we got enough snow here to justify me building one!
  6. good to see some local-ish footage, makes me want to get out riding!
  7. nice looking bike, you might find you'll want a higher bar/stem combo on there though
  8. nice riding, that last clip makes me glad i just got a forged stem to replace my knackered old nuc!

    Triton

if you do a search for triton in the photos section they show up, well they did for me anyway
  10. i've never painted anything that's been anodised, so i can't really help you there bud, sorry
  11. just pick a colour you like, the technique is the most important part, remember the more effort and time you put in the better the result will be EDIT; actually i'd avoid hammerite sprays, the last time i used one it was shite!
  12. when we're keying paint at work we nrmally use 240 grit, seems to work pretty well
  13. yeah he does, check his avatar EDIT: nearly didn't watch this because of the intro song! nice riding though
  14. i know of a couple of frames for sale at the moment, but yeah i've not seen anyone riding one! i think the 116 spacing puts people off. the weight could be way off to be honest, i used some cheap ass luggage scales to weigh it lol still feels fairly light though, compared to my previous bikes just measured it at 1075 wheelbase with the fattys on so i guess that makes mine a short too. the chain is seriously close to the stay, probably only a mm or so clearance but it doesn't rub, the brake mounts are shocking though, nowhere near straight! filed them loads which improved things a bit but they're still well off which makes the pads sit toed out
  15. it's no featherweight i'll admit, think it's in the mid 10kg area! i'm happy with it though, i'm on a tight budget and it's a world away from my last stock which was a martin hawyes rep!
  16. quick pic of my bike, spec as follows frame - 2010? beause 26 modstock (think it's the short version) fork - cannondale fatty headset - fsa pig (came fitted to frame) bars - zoo! riser stem - try all nuc 125x25 grips - monty thin foam front brake - bb7 with xt lever and aztec 185 disc rear brake - hs33 with echo lever, cheapy ebay carbon booster, tnn clamps and heroes64 cnc pads cranks - tensile 170mm bash - gu freewheel - echo sl pedals - try all platforms front rim - megamo with extra holes drilled in it (not by me!) front hub - cheapo disc (viz hub to be fitted) rear hub - onza sealed rear rim - crappy MAD phase rim (came with the frame) tyres - try all stiky need to sort a decent back wheel for it, got an echo tr rim, just need a hub to go with it! oh yeah, please ignore the shitheap it's leant against! EDIT: just weighed it at roughly 10.5kg, my scales aren't the best!
  17. topeak chain tools are boss
  18. maybe a mod stem would work? a lot of stock riders seem to be running them at the moment awesome bike though, i'd have one in a second if i had the cash!
  19. sorry man, i couldn't help myself!
  20. err

    Geometry

seeing as you say the bb height is the same, i'd suggest a higher bar/stem combo. if you like the way your mates bike rides then try to get yours set up in a similar way
  21. not a problem, glad you got sorted in the end
