  1. cool, i was watching that too, glad it's gone to a good home and looking forward to seeing it finished!
  2. just once or twice in the last 13 years or so

    Eccentric Hubs

that looks really tidy, i'm guessing it's very secure! i hate chain tensioners with a passion, i'm switching to horizontal dropouts and snail cams soon
  4. i'd guess you could get away with a fairly big gap in sizes, have you seen the megarange cassettes with the massive 1st gear? like this: edit; that's a screw on in the pic, but i just put it up as an example of the jump in size
  5. they'll be m5, probably about 15mm long
  6. deffo pedals and rear tyre too, wellgo mags are a lot lighter than dmrs
  7. looks good, i take it you had a tr lever before? mine took loads of mucking about with to get a decent lever feel, magura levers give a much more solid feel to the brake
  8. i literally can't understand how you pull some of the moves you do (which possibly explains my shitness lol) awesome riding

    Mud Guards

mudguards are totally for pussies! nah, i'm all for mudguards, dog shit on your face isn't pleasant to the op, maybe you could sort some kind of shim to get the standard size guards to fit?
  10. and when have you ever heard of headset cups referred to as wedges? just because you misunderstood the description is no reason to get arsey about it

    Eccentric Hubs

as per the title really, does anyone have any experience of them for trials use?
  12. nice, i really like the clean lines of the frame
  13. the first one i'd say, but at the end of the day it's your bike, so whatever you prefer really!
  14. match the bars to the frame and the fork and stem to each other?
  15. i'll admit to the fact that i find it hard to watch vids of helmetless riders, bmx trials or otherwise. it just seems silly to me to put yourself at extra risk of injury when doing what are already dangerous activities, i never used to wear a lid until i looped out and twatted my head on a curb, the 2 day headache and time off the bike convinced me to get one! i wouldn't ride without one now
  16. this^ plus i got sent a load of rubbish in mine that i had marked as don't send! changed my preferences so that the only thing they could put in was honey cashews, second box shows with two lots of seeds and some manky rice crackers, they won't be getting any more business from me!
  17. do you mean going from screw on cassette to fixed? this is made for the job i think http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fixed-Wheel-Hub-Adaptor-Converter-FIXIE-/150706933809?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item2316d55031#ht_500wt_1203
  18. did you wind the tpa all the way out before you bled it? if not then the lever piston might be bottoming out before the brake reaches full travel edit: i have an echo lever and this happened, might be different for normal hs33 levers
  19. bugger, a few of us from blandford rode in poole today! wish i'd seen this before we left
  20. maguras use mineral oil, not dot brake fluid. dot will kill your brake, trust me. i've got a dead hs33 in my shed that the previous owner filled with car brake fluid
  21. i'm banning you for bumming a banner of a bummer
