i use the soft compound ones on my rear brake and i really rate them, although i don't have much experience with other makes of pads to be honest

they can be a turd to bleed, took me three attempts to get mine right!

i had some heatsink blues in tnn backings so i'd say yeah! i bought them already assembled so i'm not entirely sure what you'd need to do, but they were super glued together hope that helps!

apparently echo levers don't hold a water bleed very well, although i've never tried it myself. i use monty oil which is thinner than standard maggie oil, but thicker than water and it's not leaked yet, fingers crossed!

by the looks of it the first one doesn't include the weight of the disc or hose -
didn't mean anything by it, just a heads up as they can give some ineresting handling traits! you can get canti style pads on ebay that use the soft compounds, might be worth a look?

indys are the twangiest forks known to man, a mate of mine had a set way back when and you could pretty much rub the front tyre on the downtube if you braked hard enough!

that crotch close up seemed pretty gay to me! seriously though, i'm not a fan of any of the twixtor slo-mo footage i've seen, the blurry-ness does my head in
