  1. paint stripper in general is pretty shite these days, one of the chemicals they usedto put in has been banned but i can't remember which one! look for some old stock nitromors EDIT: the paint on my old ashton justice was tough as hell, even proper nitromors struggled!
  2. is this any use? http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/sidewinder-sidewinder-easy-fit-endless-inner-tube-for-24-and-26-inch-wheels-prod11126/
  3. really? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ddg-shooter-trials-bike-/190664991811?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item2c6484e443#ht_500wt_1203 the name of the frame is on the toptube ffs!
  4. 2011 on maggies are like that anyway, and i ran my old set the way you described. i had my front one running thr m6/m6 cylinders and the m6/m8s on the rear, had them like that as i was using monty splitters
  5. that tactical dab at the end looked smooth as hell! don't mean this to sound rude, but you're loads better than i thought you were good riding
  6. slightly off topic but my wife made a batch of elderberry wine a couple of years ago, that stuff was lethal
  7. funnily enough it never sold! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/trials-bycicle-/150790875768?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item231bd62a78#ht_500wt_1203 i'll admit i was tempted, i mean for 800 it must be such a good bike, sorry bycicle apparently
  8. there's so much crap like that on ebay it's unreal! anyone seen the mission reefer 26" for £800?
  9. go to your profile and click the edit profile button, it's the member title box about a third of the way down edit, too slow
  10. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25-Piece-Thread-Repair-Kit-M5-X-0-8-X-6-7mm-Helicoil-Type-/250965216222?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a6eb14bde#ht_2643wt_954 think that should do the trick
  11. that's rather nice for a starer bike! looks good
  12. i'd guess that the standard onza ones are pretty cheap, personally i'd go for something like an avid sd7 or shimano deore
  13. that's an open bearing hub so the first thing i'd try is tightening up the cones as for the v, try unscrewing the adjuster on the other arm to even up the tension a bit failing that, a decent v can be had for under a tenner on the 'bay
  14. that seems a bit pricey to me, i sold a 2005 model t pro 2 years ago for 150! there are definitely better deals to be had out there, have a look in the for sale section EDIT: dan beat me to it!
  15. just trying to be "down with the kids" like high risers should finish it off nicely
  16. personally i like the black/silver combo, but it's up to you really innit. on a side note if you polish them and don't like the outcome you could always paint them black again!
  17. i can't beleive no-one has made any reference to sam nichols' huge sausage on a serious note, i've watched the vid at least three times, it's goooood good things happen when you guys get together
  18. i'd say you're pretty damn good for 2-3 months!
  19. err

    Found This (Repost?)

that's no granny bike, it's the skye 2 proto
  20. do you mean that the hub moves side to side on the axle?
  21. i've got the older modstock frame and i have to do the exact same thing when i tighten the rear wheel, also my 4 bolt mounts are on the piss. seems that because's manufacturing tolerances aren't that tight!
  22. bet that tyre smelled gooooooood while you were grinding the knobbles off? looks good man, wish people would stop rawing/polishing frames, makes me want to do mine! although you might want to work on that cutout a little more and radius the corners, because the cuts that are there at the moment could cause cracks. just a heads up
  23. this guy has an sl freewheel for parts?
  24. i'd have got bored 5 minutes into doing that! good work though, bling bars lol
