First off you will get back.....I've had two acl''s done and it takes a while for the knee to get back in shape. Some do it in 3 months other a year or two...but patience is your friend...light walking, road bikes and straight leg lifting is you friend the first few months...do rush it, you gotta live with the knee the rest of your life....
