  1. Scorch marks, melting and destruction. All very curious.
  2. Where's the scientific evidence the Egyptians built these structures? All that can be proven is they were there 5000 years ago. There's no tools been found to prove that they can do what is being claimed of the Ancient Egyptians. Are there any hieroglyphs showing it was the Egyptians that built any of these megalithic structures? None that I've seen. If you watch that video of the "Thunder Stone" you'll see how the story of it is actually quite different to the end product. Are we to believe they carved off 1100 tons of granite while it was in motion or was the story embellished a bit? (I'm pretty sure a lightening bolt didn't break that piece of rock off) Here's my circumstantial proof it was a lost ancient civilisation. These megalithic structures are global and share similar traits that would suggest shared techniques. These techniques seemed to have got lost from every culture that supposedly had them. Stories of the lost city of Atlantis and global floods exist in many of these cultures "mythology". There's evidence of a huge extraterrestrial impact about 12800 years ago which wiped out a huge amount of the population and could have potentially reset mankind. A lot of these megalithic structures are in ruin with catastrophic damage in South America (http://www.ancientpages.com/2014/05/27/enigma-ancient-upside-stairs-sacsayhuaman/) and who knows what else could have been destroyed? You say this box could have been cut with a copper/bronze saw and sand? Where's your evidence of a 4ft plus copper saw? Is there a hieroglyphic of such a large saw? Sorry for being a bit all over the place with this. There's so much I want say and show but I'm struggling to put it all together. An issue I have is reading large amounts of text. My mind wonders and nothing goes in. I'm more of a visual person and I really struggle with reading articles. That's probably why I get sucked into YouTube and believing all this crap about lost ancient technology. Videos and physical demonstrations work best on me. I don't want this to turn hostile so if any of what I've said so far sounds like I'm being an arse I'm honestly not trying to come across as one.
  3. I totally get that. None of what's been done is effortless but I do believe there was a substantial less amount of effort to make these things than current theories. That's just an opinion. Earth is a big old place and there are quite a lot of these megalithic structures about.
  4. I know no one is going to watch all these videos and I'm bombarding people with this stuff but seriously? What the hell were they thinking? Whoever squared up and started cutting that out had some insane ambition!
  5. A "1500" ton stone moved by the Russians in the 17th century... Moved and carved with supposedly more advanced tools and equipment.
  6. Again this shows the scale of what was done all around the world. These Giant cut rocks don't seem to be very rare and reserved for kings etc. To me it looks like megalithic buildings were done with relative ease.
  7. This place is interesting The parallel lines look like the were done with some kind of rake rather than a single chisel. I'm not saying any of what was done here needs any kind of crazy technology to do it but its an interesting and impressive site. I'm currently watching this It definitely challenges all my claims but some things just don't quite cut it for me. (I'm not saying it was ancient aliens and that's not what I think. I'm using it as way of challenging my claims of lost ancient technology) I've backed myself into a corner of a particular way of thinking and I'm taking the claims of these lost ancient technology proponents as gospel when in reality I need to do more research. Apologies for coming across like an arse. I've took a step back and I'm looking at it all with a bit more of an open mind. I honestly do think there's a lot more to it than we know but I need to go about it all a different way.
  8. Anyway back to the topic. Here's my way of thinking when it comes to lost ancient technology. 1. We can all agree that 1000's of years ago (no specific time) a method of construction was quarrying, shaping and stacking giant blocks of natural stone. Agreed? 2. This method wasn't specific to a particular group in a single area and it was in fact global. 3. For some reason it stopped and people started using smaller bricks and mortar again globally. 4. These very same methods are still used to this day. 5. You could say a lot of the basic principles of workmanship have been developed but are basically the same to this day. For example bricks and mortar, clay pots, basic tools such as hammers chisels, saws etc. 6. The methods used to move these huge blocks stopped getting used (whatever method that might have been). My question is why did these methods (megalithic buildings) by far the most impressive ones stop getting used when virtually every other method of bronze age man seem to stick around? I know I'm making a leap to this narrative that there was a global catastrophe and mankind got reset but there is evidence of something huge happening 12,800 years ago.
  9. I'm terrible at expressing what I mean though text. I've always been awful at English.
  10. I'm not suggesting the Masons have been an organisation longer than is documented. My thought was maybe their founders were the ones that found all this ancient tech and kept it for themselves then built this club on that foundation. I'm just letting my imagination run wild a bit here. Bob Lazar mentioned something about there being 9 "alien" Crafts in S4 and at least one of them was from an archaeological dig. Again this is all just my imagination running wild. It doesn't take long for people to not understand how something might work.
  11. I've heard of Roman concrete before. It's very interesting. How did they work out the formula and understand that it gets stronger over time? Was it just a case of trial and error? Was it found by mistake as so many discoveries are? Like you say its all about perspective. On a side note an interesting thought I had before was about all these conspiracy theories about secrets being kept from the public by some kind of organisation. The fact that a lot of the mysteries of ancient megaliths involve stone work it would be funny if that's the reason we have the "Freemasons and Masons" I'm not making any claims here I'm just expressing my thoughts.
  12. The hypothesis that really has my attention is that human civilisation is a lot older than we think and there was a global catastrophe about 12,800 years ago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Younger_Dryas_impact_hypothesis) This would have devastated the planet and wiped out virtually all of civilisation basically sending everyone back to the stone age. Any ancient global civilisation would have had to escape the danger and basically start again. Some of the knowledge gets saved and passed on and saved and we end up with stories of these events like whats in certain holy books etc. Due to the hostility of the planet and solar system its very unlikely that man has a straight line timeline from the stone age till now. So I think it is all very possible. Imagine a planet that was once thriving you'd expect to see similar kinds of building work and there are a lot of pyramids all over the planet. There's a lot of megalithic structures in ruin with poor inferior repair work. These cultures that we know of could very well have taken over these sites and made them their home after a global reset. Any evidence would have been contaminated by them. I'm not saying the lost ancient technology is anything like what we have today. I think it would be alien to us because we've ended up on a different path technology wise. Thing's could have already been found and we just don't know how to use them like this for example http://s8int.com/phile/page52.html There's more questions than answers. I keep seeing more and more things that confirm my argument to me. I think ancient people are well underestimated. They were a lot smarter than historians give them credit for.
  13. That's what I'm talking about. Any need for the attitude? It was a generalisation I wasn't aiming it at anyone in particular. I apologised for my frustration in the other thread, I accept not everyone shares the same beliefs I do but I don't appreciate my thoughts and opinions being just written off and not taken seriously. It's all got way out of hand and I'm sure if it was a discussion in person things would have gone a lot better. Either way it can carry on in the new thread if anyone is interested. I've picked my toys back up and put them in the pram.
  14. These are pretty impressive. I don't agree with everything they say but they make some good points. There's clearly a huge difference in skill between whoever made the box and whoever wrote on it. I'd like to know how they got the lids on in such a tight working space. You're either lifting a 30 ton lid in a tight space or pushing a 100 ton box into that same space.
  15. I'd just like to point out that this is just a subject I'm interested in and find "Highly compelling" I'm not an archaeologist, scientist, engineer, geologist or even university educated for that matter. It feels like you want me to provide peer reviewed evidence of "LOST" ancient technology, well I can't do that because its been lost. The only evidence I can show is what's been made with this supposed lost technology. I personally think its extremely unlikely that it was just perseverance and the will of someone with power. I don't even think its possible to make or move a lot of the blocks/structures found with the tools we have evidence for. There's no evidence showing that they (Egyptians etc) did build a lot of these structures around the world but there's evidence of them doing other tasks that would match their own abilities. If people could bare in mind that I'm just a normal person and not an expert on any of this then I'm sure things will go a lot more smoothly.
  16. I just got fed up of being spoke to like a piece of crap really. It's a belief on both sides of the argument. Evidence can be interpreted differently you lot seem to choose to just accept that people from the past were basically robots and just worked hard all day long because they were told to do so. I could find a lost city a mile under the sea and because we only have the evidence we have at the minute you lot would come up with some theory about how it was all possible given enough time effort and man hours. Anyway since this is the Happy Thread I'm happy that YouTube exists and I can watch all the crazy videos I like.
  17. I like that they have done this. I don't think it will become a thing but Its great that it is a thing.

The back panel from this computer on the Rowing machine has been missing for year so I designed and printed one out. Got pretty spot on with my first attempt and only had to make a minor adjustment for the finished product.
  20. Show me a moral business that's successful... This is the real world world everyone who wants to get ahead has to lie cheat and deceive in one way or another. Every massive business has some kind of scandal that comes out eventually its just the way it is.
  21. I really like the look of the Canyon Torque. What's your budget?
  22. ^ That works for solid and hollow bars but I'm talking about the front wheel. I think of a pizza when you explain it like that with two varying size diameters. A 10" pizza is a fair bit more pizza that two 5" pizzas haha. Are you going to have a 100mm (not calculated just off the top of my head) through axle to match the stiffness of a standard axle held on both sides? As far as I know 20mm is the largest through axle available. Carbon is a great material but as far as I know its a lot softer than aluminium hence not being able to screw bolts directly into it. Is the axle going to be carbon as well? Edit: Not trying to bash you at all. I'm just interested in your findings and the way you think. I appreciate the work you are doing and its good to see someone trying new things
  23. Looking at those handlebars it looks to me like the ones on the green bike wouldn't fit your hands properly? There's a curve where you're little fingers would rest. Looking at the forks/lefty thing I can't see how they could ever be stronger than a traditional set of forks? The image that comes to my mind is if you got a stick and put it though a wheel then put either hand on either side of the wheel holding the stick and tried to do a press up using that wheel everything would balance out and you'd be fine. If you put both hands on one side of the stick there's no way you'd be able to do a press up. You're using the same tools but the leverage would make it impossible. Does the leverage not come up in your calculations? Edit: I never went to Uni or did any kind of engineering I might be totally off with what I'm saying but that's just how my brain works.
