  1. Well, I loosen the brake once I pedal kick not earlier. Sometimes I catch myself not letting go... As for my initial question. I haven't been able to ride lately but went to the gym fairly often. I did a routine of upper body strength, deadlifts and squats. Yesterday I went back to the wall in the above shown video and even though my technique ist still shit, I get up that wall fairly easy. So yeah... strength does help a lot but I guess technique does so even more.
  2. Time to get the Rockman Gabbro V3 before it's sold out.
  3. Still. Accidents happen however proficient you are at both riding and bike-maintenance.
  4. This is why I hate trials riders using human obstacles. You might be a Jack Carthy but your chain could be a Jack Black.
  5. Do they always brake there or also at the V-Brake mounts?
  6. Didn't really challange him though by the looks of it.
  7. Believe me, the V-Brake has more hold than a Racing line brake. At least for me it works better. And it really isn't a new thing, just the only pure trials frame with canti bosses. edit: Just re read your post. Yes. The cable is still anchored the same. There are enough v-brake riders who've never encountered a cable slipping from the bolt so I'd say it's as safe as a HS33.
  8. Just bought the frame of this forum and built it up with parts of my GU''. Geo should be (if I'm not mistaken): 1090/70/380 Haven't ridden it yet and I'm curious about how the front brake performs. Rear has been tested with the same adapters on another frame already and I was really satisfied. Unfortunately, the shimano carbon booster isn't wide enough to keep using it. Weight should be between 8.3 - 8.6
  9. I talked to the seller and he told me that he's been using Echo forks with integrated crown race without a problem. I tried to use the Echo crown race I got (which should be the same angle then) with the above mentioned outcome. Is this still a headset problem? Wouldn't be the first time Try All parts aren't compatible with each other.
  10. I'll wait for the crown race then. Thanks. Edit: Would any ZS Headset fit? Is the installation of it just like any other EC headset? Have only installed those so far.
  11. Hello Guys. I bought the Rockman V-Brake frame off this forum and just tried to fit my forks into it without success. It seems as if the fork goes too deep into the frame. I cannot tighten the headset enough to keep it from moving and if I tighten it more it doesn't spin freely. On thing I should mention it's that the crown race is of an Echo sl headset while the Rockman has an internal headset from try all. The Seller forgot to send the crown race but would that make the difference? Thanks.

    Bang Bang

Clicked "Like this" before even watching the video.
  13. First thing I thought too. Those deadlifts looked horrible. Can really hurt your back this way.

    Indoor lines

I'd love to cheat like that.
  15. In my short life as a trials rider I have broken in half one TR freewheel and snapped many pawls already. The Tr1al freewheel I currently use seems to be different. Has only 72 engagement points but I think thats neglectable. Got it used from Damon and haven't had a single skip or funny noise since.
  16. Apart from rosebikes.de and bike-components.de this is the most used site for biycle online shopping in Germany.

    CSC X-66 Rim Brake

These are very interesting. The little spring is sort makeshift and you'd have to drill all brake pads that are not CSC but well... Not too expensive either... http://www.trial-bikes.com/hydraulic-brake-p-536662.html
  18. Yes he is. The Eclipse tubes aren't latex are they?
  19. One guy in our group runs them w/o any problems. You have to use the right pressure though.
  20. Wasn't that 7.62kgs? @Target: Ever thought about getting some ECLIPSE tubes? Would save you another 100gr.

    Deep Water

Has been for a while already. It's over...
  22. Couple of weeks ago and have gotten slightly better already. After having done this move for 1000x it doesn't seem so scary after all. The wheel swap still is difficult and I cannot get on the rear wheel. Any suggestions?
  23. Yeah. Found it already. You make it seem so effortless that it doesn't look so difficult after all.
  24. No. Was actually referring to the pic of Guillermo on the page before this. Didn't know that there was still another page after that. Yours is cool too.
  25. I think it's whether you're using the impulse of your calves or of your thighs. Pretty much the difference of plyometrics and squats. Just my theory though.
