at the end of the day most trials bikes are light as hell anyway, i ride a mod that weighs 12kilos, only been riding just over 2 years and people have been saying im keeping up with good riders anyway! proof you dont need the superlight stuff, make yourself stronger because the real pro's shouldnt blame thier equipment. also the "underdog" quality of keeping up on the slightly heavier + not as good bike makes you look better surely.... just typed this with 7 people around me and they all agree anyway... not aimed at you, just saying it to everyone really and yes, a mod that weighs more than an inspired.... im 15 for goodness sake stop worrying about weight so much everyone

it depends how much you tighten some shoes up i guess. i had some Vans half-cabs and done up tight they worked well for me! but im just using the FiveTen MacAskill shoes and to be honest with my shin pads they seem to keep my ankles alot more "rigid" but dont restrict my movement. (my shin pads have ankle protection as well so when there tucked in your shoes it makes the whole shin pad seem connected to the shoe) if that makes any sense? i might need to word it differently but oh well

the avid lever blades feel the nicest imo, just there um, shit brakes. like the feel of hope brakes but the blades are a bit skinny, same with saints but the power and snap is there. why is there no combo of good only!?

depends if you like the feel of them i'd say, but there being discontinued so i didnt get them

just brought a pair of hope x3 brakes from Dman i was going to but not now might get one for my ONZA PRO to replace the avid but to be honest its an avid and works fine for me

agreeing with james, think there cheap because of the materials but they dont look or feel weak at all. thats the lever only, u need like everything else mate
