  1. i know, i realse that now but considering the last thing i said to her is 'your dead to me.....' maybe she'll get the hint and f**k off!
  2. My ex texted today. with a blatently conversation starter of : i saw a golf at scrapyard, ect ect. i told her to do one and shes dead to me so happy that im finally at the point that im 100% over her. so good to move on and be happy with my life!
  3. i'd love to live a life where the worst thing that happened is me getting annoyed that someone said brought insted of bought
  4. Brought a set of siezed spring adjusters for my car. Free'd them up, put them back on eBay and have had loads of interest! Brought for £3, currently sat at £16 with 2 days left
  5. from what i've read, the 130 and 150 are both physically the same, just different ecu/map? I'd really clean the egr/inlet manifold, mine were utterly hanging!
  6. i think luke knows how to fit an egr delete
  7. ha ha, so its a gt tdi? dam you! thinking about giving up on modifying my engine and getting a pd130/150, mine being a non pd will always be a money pit
  8. which tdi lump luke? Looks tidy, always wish i brought a 3 door
  9. cousts on any grind will be better than any shit pads have you tried cousts on a fresh sharp grind? ive always found me/anyone i've spoken to find them best on a sharp grind.
  10. i always found that french cousts need a sharp grind to work best, and dull grinds quickly. where as heatsink yellows work well off a milder grind, and dont wear down grinds as much!
  11. i love their translation: Installation: First, the pedals are dinstinguished as L for left and R for right. Drop some butter at the screw threads and put the locking gasket between the pedal and the brace (the smoother side faces outside). Use the wrench to wrench the pedal tightly. (The left foot is reverse threaded).
  12. i've notised weight differences when lightening my bike, but for a decent rider, i doubt it'd make much of a difference. With your two examples, you'd notise the difference in brake feel/ tyre bounce before you'd notise the weight....
  13. Oh herro.... Prawn, did you say that you had no issues with bleeding brakes normally on your A3?
  14. Come on Prawn, show us your exhaust!
  15. That's a compliment, my cars a heap compared to Nick's! It's not really a stylish tip, mines just a bit of 2.5" stainless pipe sticking out the back
  16. I'm not sure if you understand the terminology, of those words, (and if you do and im just telling you how to suck eggs, im sorry!) Cat-back simply means all the exhaust from the catalytic converter to the back of the car. Turbo-back is from the turbo to the back of the car. I've never heard anyone use the word 'backboxback'. You basically mean the tailpipe
  17. Nick wouldnt have changed just the tip It'll be a complete performance exhaust
  18. No, but that's even funnier!
  19. at least its straight
  20. Not a bodge unless it includes cable ties
  21. Got annoyed with my 'discreet exit' exhuast not being so discreet Got a bit of 2.5" stainless pipe and stuck it out the back It now rattles when you start/stop the engine
  22. hs33 and hope mini's by the looks of it.
  23. Just threw half a cup of coffee over myself......
