That definitely wasn't the picture I saw. As I said I believe it was the smaller size bash plate. I'm guessing it probably was just a random picture of a mod even though I was looking at stock bikes.

I was sure I had seen a plate on a stock trials bike though but could be wrong. I could be completely wrong though and it may have been a stray mod picture mixed in when I was looking at stocks.

I know most people don't like bash plates but are there any 24/26 bikes that have them that are still for sale or had them in the past. I'm sure I've seen a picture of a 26 monty with one fitted?

I think it's purely a visual thing. I actually sit on my seat when cruising around so have it the same as you or I slide off the back

I understand this completely. I've not been riding long and don't get on the bike much so progress is slow but one day it will just click. However I find track stands really hard because they are so boring to practice.

As a beginner I guess I wouldn't notice much difference. Planning on running the sticky till it's too worn then switching to the lite when I'm better.

How are standard tryall sticky compared to sticky lites on the rear?

You never did say a budget but have you considered custom specing a laptop? I got a very high spec laptop for 900 and company was amazing. That's an i7 16gb ram 1t hard disc blah blah

Well they came on the bike so if they are no worse I won't bother replacing them. I don't think at my level the weight will make much difference.
