    So currently I am running hope tech 3 v4 with braided lines on hope 203 vented discs. Now I know vented discs don't really add any performance for trials but are they worse than standard discs?

    I have the hope pro 2 EVO 40t but not the trials/ss version. The hub shell is a slightly different shape.

    I've never seen purple as an option on the 80ep version. I'll give tarty a ring then. Just checked and tarty have them. Now just need to decide if it's worth £200 to go from 40-80ep

    Well they don't do the 80ep hub in purple that's the problem and I don't really want to rebuild a perfectly good wheel

    With that last bit I get at least 1 call a week from people about my accident. They just get records of anyone that drives and assume they will have had a crash at some point and try and get you to claim for whiplash
