Yep, what everyone has already said. The Arch Rivals start off good, then the linkage goes wobbly and they lose power. SD7s are better.

What did you actually do to it and what operation was it? Just curious - I had an op on my shoulder but it doesn't sound as serious as yours, I was only in for one day.

Hehe, Chris you are officially an old giffer. I agree 100% though However, I like the idea of a good stereo in a car. It's the one place where you're often alone with time to kill and nothing else to do. So listening to some music makes sense. However, as far as I can tell, most people just want to play shite really loudly, rather than actually have a decent-sounding setup so my argument is a bit irrelevant. Surely you can see that the insurance companies are there as a backup for when things go spectacularly wrong? Like when you run into the back of someone, writing off their (£20k) car and giving them whiplash (another £30k). It's not 'wasted' money, that's a really stupid way of thinking of it If the cost of insurance is too much for you, then don't drive. Simple as that.

Are you sure about that? I thought they were both the same resolution, the p and the i were just the way it's produced (p = progressive, i = interlaced)? I might be wrong though. EDIT: Er, it's well confusing. You're kind of right, 1080p is better than i. Google it if you wanna hear loads of geeks argue about it.

That's what I mean though. As far as I can tell, there's no real evidence either way, so accusing them of murder (or even just neglect) would just make things much worse for them if they didn't do it. If they did do it, fine. But a lot of people are saying some really spiteful things, which I don't think is fair given that none of us know the whole story.

That would be true, but I just don't believe anyone is 'cashing in' at all. A high-profile documentary is surely a good way to raise awareness. I guess it depends what view you take on it - I personally don't think they'll be financially better off after all of this, and I don't for a minute think that their intention is to make money with this film.

The thing is, you can't possibly know how you'd react to that situation. Secondly, they're not trying to 'live it down' - They're trying to find her if it's at all possible. Thirdly, they're both doctors who I presume were well-payed before all of this, and now their reputations are pretty much ruined. I don't know the situation, but I'd imagine it'd be hard for them to work. If you don't think they deserve any money, don't give them any

I usually just use a youtube video and grab the audio with audacity. It's usually good enough. The problem is that all the videos of Popeye on youtube are pretty old and poor quality.
