  1. There's always one, If I ever meet you I'm going to batter you M8! There may eventually be pics though.
  2. Just a quick post to gloat about the fact I was sitting in a £4.500.000 car yesterday. That is all.
  3. Only the Ice-Tech ones have alloy, and they are still heavier than a standard rotor of the same size. They are plenty strong enough too.
  4. I got mine because the fatter alloy arms are harder to bend than skinny steel ones. Still running them a year later with no problems and they are still pretty straight!
  5. can send it in a PM if you don't want to put it on here?
  6. Got to admit I'm pretty curious, other than speaking my mind a little I'm pretty sure I've never done anything actually bad.
  7. I wonder if people would be so defensive if it wasn't a good rider like Damon involved? If you don't care then that's fine, but a lot of people do and it's worth bearing that in mind. This topic was about a new sponsor of his and people started talking about Damon and his sponsors, so it's not totally off topic, plus most of the replies have been pretty mature (from memory, I'm not going through 6 pages to check)....The only ones posting the bitchy comments seem to be Damon and company, I don't totally expect them to be pleased about what's being said so I'm not overly fussed if they have a little go, but I'm yet to see Damon explain with more detail what happened with previous sponsors.
  8. Satin black spray paint does the trick for me. Pro-Tip: You can put a layer of electrical/insulating tape on your bars too if you're getting mega problems with them slipping on the bars.

That looks pretty sweet, I can't wait to see what GTA would be like and fingers crossed a Metal Gear Solid game too!
  11. I only commented because someone's post was slightly misleading. I didn't comment personally about you. That "quote" is actually a lot worse than what I actually said too.
  12. To be honest I didn't really want to comment as I knew it would be picked up on and end in a big argument, contrary to belief I'd rather not have the forum full of arguments and rifts.
  13. Can't really go wrong when Dom's riding
  14. Or maybe they've seen evidence and come to their own conclusion? Ash, I'd like to think it carries to all sports. I know Aaran Gwinn the DH rider lost a lot of respect when he left Trek even though he wasn't technically in the wrong, people still thought less of him because of it.
  15. 90X35 with spacers to give a really high front end will feel a littler roomier than if it's low down plus you'll be able to bunnyhop and manual easier.
  16. no one is saying Damon's a shit rider. All anyone is saying is that he hasn't acted in a respectable way towards sponsors.
  17. You say that, but I was/am a twat and got made a mod. Hint: This is Mark, not Ali.
  18. like that a lot! Pretty awesome that you built it overnight too
  19. Mark with brakes is an odd sight indeed. You may have felt a little shit at times with them on, but I was pretty impressed by how quickly you picked stuff up!
  20. I think if you relaxed more you might be a bit better off. Looks like your legs are a little straight which is almost forcing your upper body too far forwards resulting in the bike wanting to fall forwards. I think if you "sat" into it a little more with a more natural bent legs kinda deal then you may find it a little easier. Also, whilst your bars may not be too extreme and I'm sure someone will slag me for this, your bars almost look a little too far forward for your riding style. it looks like you want to have your arms in a natural "elbows in" position, but then your wrists are being forced into a position that normally makes people ride in an "elbows out" position because of the bars. if you tilted them back a bit you may find that lets your arms act a little more natural and it could actually improve rear wheel control. Forward bars are not an improvement for everyone.
  21. it seems to be universally called a fakie manual I think being competent at normal manuals is definitely an advantage, you use your knees and "pumping" motion as you would a normal manual so knowing how to do that first will help. Also, find a gentle slope and practice on that if you are not already.
