It looks similar to (insert picture of any brake that uses a vertical piston design)!

planning to do one, will probably be fairly close to the closing date though as I'm still trying to learn stuff and junk. -
I have two more options that could cause issues. 1) the rotor may have missed the heat treatment process. It's rare but I've seen it before, the rotors are easy to bend by hand. 2) the disc mounts on the hub could have twisted restulting in the rotor bending into a "bowl" shape. It's unlikely it has done that but you never know.

My custom stealth Inspired Hex with internal routing.

I know right? I see quite a few people say "I don't like ___ but I like this" which seems weird as if you like one aspect of the thing you don't like then surly you've made a decision without seeing the full picture. Nice Edit eggbutnoshell :wink2: -

then you need to re-think what you can and can't stand -
they don't say what size piston they use.....could be ~9mm like disc levers and they could have moved the pivot in the lever to decrease the mechanical advantage (doesn't look it it's moved much though which could mean it's spongy) or it could have a normal 14mm piston. Still would rather have a V brake.

people in skateparks (not just kids) who have seen you try a line multiple times yet still sit/wait/stand/talk/leave bike in exactly the place you're trying to go.........I just don't understand the thought process.
-
bummer, they actually look quite nice.

haha, no I knew you were just joshing, I didn't mean my response to be harsh or anything, I guess the internet can be hard to get things across as it's meant sometimes. I probably won't do a skatepark edit as there are people way better than me at riding parks, I just see them as a place to get to when the weather won't let me ride outside.

well, I could instead of a nose manual do a stoppie, instead of a threee hop, I could do a 360 pivot drop thing and instead of a hop whip I could do a footjam whip. All accepted by (most) trials riders, yet all a lot easier (and therefore not as good) as doing them properly.

went to Rampworx yesterday with the goal to nose manual a 4-5 meter deck area....did it second try and about 4 more times while I was there Didn't even get close last time I was there a few weeks ago. Also felt like hop whips are getting closer and I dared 3 hop into bankings, something that's been giving me the fear for many months now.

I stopped because I decided that I ride because it's fun and the gym is not fun. Plus it cost money I could use on travelling to interesting places rather than sitting in a sweaty room.
-
I could bench more free than on a smith. I spent about 4 months going to the gym about 2-3 times a week a few years back and I can't say I noticed much improvement in my riding. I think riding is simply the best thing that can be done, perhaps riding with a weighted vest could work (would look a little gay though). awaits Dave to slag me off

a slightly better way is instead of clamping the trailing end of the chain in a vice, clamp the chain while it's around the cog EXCEPT let one link of the chain miss a tooth so it makes a small triangle. This way it can't slip around in the vice, I've never seem it snap a chain or fail getting a cog off.

was at my parents for Christmas with my sister and her husband. He was upstairs in the bathroom and everyone else was downstairs. He came back down looking a bit shaken and explained that he heard someone talking outside the bathroom quite clearly but when he looked there was no one there. He also said that he heard activity on the landing one night, footsteps up and down but again when he looked there was no one there.

Too much car stuff for my liking haha though I did like how futuristic the Huayra was with it's moving flaps and stuff (reminds me of the game Wipeout) I preferred the McRae thing later, it was a nice surprise.

Hope pro 2 shortening (dave33 help please) *finished pictures page 4*

BMXers usually do comment on the noise of my hub, but Hope would have to make one piece 9T drivers for BMXers to be interested and maybe a different axle so they can use pegs, and no disc mount.....so yeah, would need to be a different hub all together really. -
I'm not sure how you make something popular (I know I fail at times). I think more events helps, Section one was a good way to do it, so yeah....more of those. I have two thoughts about whether I want it more popular, part of me likes it being small (means people like me get sponsored) but more money would be cool so more people could make a living off riding, but the bar would be set higher so people like me would probably be overtaken by the next wonder kid and I wouldn't get to go on cool team trips and junk.

pretty sure my Speedrace ones were around 10mm square
-
actually sorry my bad, I actually used M5 not M6. In which case I would have more confidence with M6 than I previously thought.
-
I'ved tried m6 before and they were really flexy, they just made me nervous
-
no sorry I wasn't being offended it's just from my experience of that hub and spoke combo that washers are not needed.
-
I did this to a Speedrace Fans frame. I used an M8 brakes boss (can't remember the pitch), drilled and tapped by hand, bit of carbon for the spring to sit against and it was lovely. Really low profile, stiffer and just generally better. I can't really comment on it's durability as I only ever rode the bike on some walls outside work as I decided it wasn't as fun as my inspired. I would definitely go with M8 though, I wouldn't trust M6 at all.
