  1. I'm sure there are things you don't like, perhaps you need to open your mind also? Bitching aside, it's just not my cup of tea, no biggy.
  2. I only watched because I saw Flip liked it, I got about half way.....no thanks, no thanks.
  3. Thanks for the ride guys (and Gal). Was cool to meet up and it wasn't quite as windy as I thought it would be. Not sure if I thanked you in person Carl, but thanks for picking up that crank from Tartybikes!
  4. I'm having some breakfast then I'll be on my way down
  5. the way Mark does it (and I because of Mark) is to raise the main "shaft" just below the camera up enough to give a good hand grip, then let the legs dangle below either closed or open. This seems surprisingly smooth.
  6. Carl, are you still stopping by Tartybikes in the morning? Are you OK to pick something up for me there? (crank arm)
  7. Monto trials rotor I think, and the power is similar, if I had to pick I would say the hope felt slightly more powerful, but Stan rode it more so he would have a better answer for you
  8. think I watched TV or went riding, true story!
  9. Stan's Hope with the pro pads is actually insane!
  10. no rain, but pretty windy apparently Could always head over to Stanley Park, not really much there but at least it's out of the wind
  11. That's almost identical to the bike I started on (except mine had rigid GT forks). 18" frame, cantilever brakes, triple chainring, 1.95" tyres, 24" wide flat bars, 120mm flatish stem. I did a years worth of comps on that bike with no trials modifications and came 3rd overall that year.
  12. Doesn't really work like that
  13. you called? Errmm, yeah, I call bullshit

    Cheeky Mouse

had rats in my old house, best method I found for killing them was to come home late, open the front door, get eye contact with rat at the other side of the room, watch it run towards you as it tries to get to it's hole and give it a good old full laces contact kick back across the room into the radiator. I guarantee that will work
  15. if it's nice I'll come out for a play in Blackpool
  16. I usually have a few ways of judging if a video is good. 1) can I make it to the end? check 2) does the video end sooner than you would think? Check 3) do I rewind to watch bits again? Check So yeah, it seems it was a good video! editing was swish, especially with the hammering and matching the song with the riding throughout the vid. Riding was big and inventive even if you do gap-to-front like a mong
  17. he's my favourite rider for a reason! Loved all of it, such a great rider.
  18. I hate secrecy but yeah, all will be revealed in time.
  19. sweet man! that's pretty legit!

    The Island Ride

good stuff, nice riding and edit. It's refreshing to see people still rocking front disc! The only gripe I have is the lack of bike noises, it always seems like what I'm watching is no way related to what I'm hearing which is a bit weird.
  21. so you're suggesting that because I rode a bike without a seat then I rode TGS? Not sure if you're trying to insult me or not?
  22. narr, I was riding Sheffield and saw Damon riding TGSing
  23. I thought they might be harder to bend as the alloy centre should be stiffer, so far so good.
