Personally I would never have anything less than 27 inch, Id say that is perfect for street and the odd X-up (unless you are one of those who do constant X-ups). The extra width IMO gives a lot more control, with anything 27" and wider. If its the bar I'm thinking of, its fine in 31.8mm, nice enough, pretty strong and fairly good shape.

That vid was really good, liked it a lot. Hows the trials scene in Hastings? The last time I went there was a year and a bit ago, when I went with family, and was just starting to get more serious about trials. I was walking along the seafront, around some of the lines in that vid, and I seem to remember seeing a beginner guy messing about on an 04 t-pro (the bike I wasnted at the time- it looked amasing to me back then, cos I wanted one so much!), but what really caught my eye were two stock riders at the seafront, one riding a sweet black Planet X, and the other was either riding a silver levelboss, or a silver zero- I cant remember which, I was looking more at the planet X. Do you know who those guys would have been?

How many frames have they made in 4 years? Im interested in the mod frame, but I'd never be able to afford one..

In a way I love it, in a way i think its sorta weird. Interesting though. Ill definately consider it for my next frame. Anyone know the chainstay length? 45mm BB is actually lower than the other mod frames out there, isnt it?? Id definately like to see some good riders' reviews on how it rides, and maybe some videos, it might grow a lot on me. Also, how much does it weigh in at?

It really annoys me that the rim is only in 32 hole, cos I was looking forwards to having it as my next rim on a profile, and having a lasting grind on a wide rim for once. Oh well, I spose it must make sense to Deng's plan for world domination.

Check the pawls didnt all drop out when the wheel was out :P. Sounds obvious, but it can happen easily, my profile seems to almost do it automatically when you take the wheel off.

I take it you mean his 1075 vinco short? I would have thought he runs just koxx bar and stem- I think he uses the koxx high-rise bars though.

Yeh, its ok, Ive been running one on the front for aaages. Rode it mainly on its origional anodised surface, and it was ok, now Ive put a light grind on it and its a little bit better, but not much difference. Dont viz do coloured rim tape too? They might do white, I dunno

Mod or stock?

Cool, nice one corish :). hows the t-pro comparing? Does it feel ok, having come from the monty? Im sorta semi-having a mini break at the moment, Ive only rode once in the last 3 weeks or so, but I expect I'll suddenly get a lust for getting back on my bike soon again.

I would expect it to be an oldskool one, sorta like the one above in the picture. Get it, should be a blast to ride, really good fun+great geometry I bet!

The difference between 2.9kg and 2.7kg is 200g, not 20g. Also, neither frame should weigh that much- did they have headsets/bash(plate/rings)s/bottom brackets in, too?

Just exaggerate your movements to the extremes when you attempt stuff, and put all of your power into them. Before kicking up to go to backwheel, lower yourself as low as possible, then throw yourself up as high as possible when you lift the frotnwheel, then tuck the bike up as high as you possibly can. With a load more practice, you should be able to get to about handlebar height before youlearn to tap :(
