Yeah, currently making them like this... I've got a set of steves cnc backings that i bought from him ages ago, absolutely great, so i'm just cutting them to fit that at the minute (they fit perfectly in plastic backing too with the corners trimed a bit so its an ideal shape really). One of the best purchases i've made for my bike.

Ha ha, yeah i guess. If it was me though i wouldn't not send them anything. If i was evil enough to scam them it wouldn't be too much trouble to post off an empty box just the right size with nothing but old underwear in so they get all excited then really shocked and angry.

If you went on a bmx and noted that it felt small then i'd advise not getting a mod. Besdies, they're for beginners and weedy guys so don't bother with them as you'll get too bored of it quick. A stock is much more versatile, can do all the same moves as a mod, plus some extra ones that don't really work on the smaller kiddies bikes like front taps etc and for generally riding stuff their a fair bit easier due to the wheel size. Mods are marginally lighter but your also starting closer to the ground so its not that much of an issue. I'd go for a 26", i reckon you'd regret getting a little bike.

Okay, theoretically 1080p is better, but at the minute theres nothing to make use of it. No tv broadcasts will be 1080p any time in the near future and so a 1080p would just be upscaling a 1080i signal anyway. 1080i every alternate line on the screen is drawn at one point, then the other half drawn straight after (it happens super fast so we don't see it), 1080p everything is drawn at once. The only time you'll really notice is amazingly fast speed moving objects, but even then its quite hard to spot if you don't know what your looking for. Basically unless your going for a monster screen at over 50-60" and upwards you won't notice the difference between 1080i and 1080p. Anything under that and 1080i looks far better than 720p, though not quite in the same league as the jump from dvd to 720p.

Have you tried using an mp3 player or similar in the AUX in to make sure its not the hi-fi at fault? If the hi-fi is fine then it's definately the computer. Assuming you have xp try right clicking my computer, clicking properties and then going into the device manager from the hardware tab. Find the audio devices and see if theres any warnings or errors. Try uninstalling the drivers and re-installing them. If its got a dedicated soundcard (just wondering as you said every audio out) make sure the onboard is disabled in the computers bios and try loading windows without the dedicated card plugged in. Close windows and switch off the machine. Fit the card again (possibly to a new pci slot) and then install new drivers. Maybe try just the onboard sound as well, installing the neccesary drivers from the motherboard cd. Something from that lot should sort the problem out.

I'm concerned about the money aspect of it all. After emailing them the response is that the donations have been put into the madeleine Ltd Co, which basically means that the donations belong to the mccans and not to a ligitimate charity. They weren't granted charity status because they all looking out for the benefits of ALL. Theres a list of things on their website specifying what the money can be used for... This is the bit i find highly alarming. Basically, the money belongs to them now and everyone who's donated has done it under these terms so they actually have contractual terms so its not false advertising. It basically means that if the mccans get accused of murdering her they can use the money to fight their case under the premises that they can continue to look for her once the case has gone to trial. Theres also the case of the missing reward money donations. Donated by celebrities to go solely into a reward fund to whoever finds her or provides information that leads to her whereabouts it was advertised at a starting point of £2.5million (or dollars, can't remember), either way a short while later in press adverts and promotional signs they were suddenly advertising the reward as being £1.5million. Where'd the million go? If its donated for the specificly sole purpose of being reward money, whats it been used on? The final point in that quote also deems that IF madeleine is found, all the money is the mcanns to keep and do with as they see fit, so long as some of it goes to remotely looking for lost kids. Ricky Gervais's new FAME dvd raised a point that might be relevant. When asked in an interview about how people should go about becoming famous he said that they should just go out and kill a prostitute. The shocking deed immediately propels them to fame as fast, if not faster, than someone who's "earnt" it by normal means. Unfortunately some people just care about the fame and not what they did to raise themselves to that status. I can't help but feel that maybe this is the case with this series of events as well. It all seems like theres something horribly wrong and i've felt that way from the start, seems more and more people are beginning to feel the same as well. Obviously i can't say for sure, but i know i don't believe them or they're story. Too many things don't add up. A rich family wouldn't leave 3 infants under the age of four, alone in their hotel room. And to say that they were so worried they returned every 15 minutes is even stranger. If they're that worried and as well off as they were it wouldn't have been hard to use the childcare facilities that WERE provided at the hotel. Bit of a rant, but weird shit none-the-less.

First one wins it for me. Faster processor, double the HD space, better graphics chipset, hdmi outputs etc. That is a VERY respectable laptop.

I saw that bike and was just about to reccomend a base for certain, then i read that sentence. To be honest i think from the looks of it the base might be your ideal frame for getting back into trials, especially as you can just switch the parts over. Make sure to stick up some pictures in the Bike Pics section in full members once you've got the frame.

Where did i say the majority of people buy them to look cool? I said apple campaign and focus on fashion with their products sometimes more than they do function. You don't see mac adverts showing off the specs of it, you see them showing off how much cooler they are than windows. I said if your doing photography it could be a deciding factor pulling out a smart sleek macbook or pulling out a generic black plastic windows machine, especially if the hardware between the two is about the same... along with the price. The only reason i say it is because my friend bought her mac for that exact reason and pretty much for that reason alone, she was determined to get a mac because when she does photo stuff she's literally trying to sell an image, and at a fashion shoot the image counts for everything. Technically, the glowy apple thing is marginally sapping battery power for no functional gain, but that IS just nitpicking. Surely its just as easy to cut a hole in and stick a card reader in the side? What if you forget the card reader one day? What if the card your trying to read has something really important on it like the plans for the cure of cancer but you can't read it because apple thought they'd rather help you see 4 inches further in the dark (intermittently as it pulses) ... ...obviously i'm exagerating and having a laugh, but still. Theres always the chance that it could happen

So the glowing apple on the top of the laptops is a better way to spend money than say, a card reader? Apples main selling point is the fashion aspect, the adverts just re-inforce the idea. Apple use their machines to appeal to games designers or 3d rendering stuff? Pretty sure people like poopipe in his line of work use pc's rather than macs.

I can trackstand briefly (5-6 seconds, sometimes longer) with no hands Sounds alright yeah, and you're right, as you get better in other areas you'll find trackstanding easy no matter which way you do it. Now its time to move onto hopping on the spot on the rear wheel
