When i thought previous monty frames were bad enough they had to go and make this..... worst looking frame, EVER!

Well the pro's of the half link chain is that they can give you a much better chain tension, as i'm sure you know. Depending on which chain you get though they can stretch quicker and slightly more than a standard chain which means your tension is gone anyway. The only way they put more stress on the rear hub is if the tension is silly tight, but then thats not good with any chain so its not something specific to a half link chain. The unsprung tensioner is good from a strength side of things. The metal arm attaching to both your axle and the mech bolt reinforces the mech hanger and should stop it breaking, however after landing on the tensioner with each sidehop you'll probably have to re-adjust it as they move out of position quite easily. Tensioning the chain upwards usually helps with this as when you land it just bashes it onto the chain a bit more, but through generally pedalling the chain will push the tensioner down slightly until its slack. Another option you probably hadn't thought of is getting a steel mech hanger. Theres a place online that sells them for practically any type of frame, though they are expensive and might not have your hanger. Pottsy (dave85 on here) would be the person to ask for one of these as he would be able to whip one up in a few minutes and would be cheaper than that extortionate site. Good thing about a steel mech hanger is their a lot stronger and can take more of a beating, and if you manage to land on it hard enough it'll only bend, not snap... in which case you just bend it back and carry on riding.

Doesn't change the fact that if they weren't giving him new wheels after each run they'd be making that much. Yeah it may not be big cost to the company, but if they weren't giving that particular set to him, they could be selling it to someone else for £30. So they are still losing out on £30

It makes sense, but the majority of it is based on assumption. I wouldn't EXPECT to see a bald tyre on a pro downhillers bike, as it'd be in their favour to have tread on it, in the same way you don't have worn tyres on cars.... it can be dangerous. Only difference is on cars its enforced to stop you putting others at risk (pdestrians etc) where as a pro downhiller would presumably only injure himself and the odd unfortunate bystander. How do you tell if spokes are going to fail though, because its pretty damn hard. My Ti spokes where fine despite being overtightened, then the next minute i'd snapped 3. And at the cost of £30 odd pound per 18 spokes i would imagine they WON'T be replacing his wheels after every run. Its pointless to replace something so expense after every single little run he does. Its going to cost them a great deal to keep him wheel'd up with their Ti spokes if they aren't up to scratch.
-
But surely people will notice while he's riding that his spokes are failing, so the word would get spread round pretty quickly. Thats like tunni's echo 06 rims, when i saw him in notts his rim was BATTERED, and everyone knew he killed them. Never heard of darren killing them yet, which, if he had... it wouldn't take too long before everyone knew about it.

If you can, get the n95, its rammed with features and has an absolute beast of a camera included. If not, get the k800i. Does almost everything the others can with the bonus of having an awesome camera. And the joystick isn't hard to use. This picture of me at bracken rocks was taken using bestpic on my k800i (rapid shot mode) then stuck together in photoshop. Best bet is to go to a phone shop and have a go with working models of each.

Encode it again at a smaller bitrate Open itunes.... edit>preferences>advanced>importing, select a bitrate around 192kbps Open file in itunes, right click... convert to mp3 Find the file after its been converted and it should be alright. Then go to bed because your young and you won't grow properly if you don't get enough sleep, and your quite short as it is so every little helps.

I hate how everything seems to be getting full of kids, and all the mature people are leaving

To be honest i think the base looks miles better than the zona, get a front disc on there and it'll be beasty. Don't like the zona though :$

I honestly don't beleive it matters too much. From a theoretical standpoint a shorter stem will be better, but i'm using a 120mm stem with riser bars tilted forwards to get more reach on an onza t-rex and i've bunnyhopped it to around 42-43". You soon get used to it and adapt accordingly. However, yes a shorter stem will make it slightly easier.

Bandwidth is not like a hard drive, it is the amount of data allowed to be sent/recieved through the server. The only similarity is that the general volume of it can be used up, but then if your going to use that as a basis for a comparison you could say bandwidth is like a jam jar, breakfast bowl, fridge, homeless persons sleeping bag or even like a dustbin getting filled up with random crap.

No, look again... you got one question from danny as to why, everyone else just said you were a t00l, they didn't ask why You got plenty of decent answers.

Mine leaked a bit till i cleaned the seals, then its been fine ever since. I have it bled with water and replace the water about once every 5-6 weeks (unless i change a hose etc). They feel nice, give more leverage, look nicer, and are lighter. Sooooo much better than a normal maggie lever, which can still leak

Too much bloody spare time .

Not read the replies but no.... don't shave your leg hair. What does she actually expect is going to happen when she gets into bed with a guy? Its no different from leaving head hair on the pillow. Your a man, your meant to be hairy. If she can't live with that then she should turn lesbian.

For lever position i generally tell people to pull the bike into its position if you were balancing on the back wheel, its natural position if you were just correction hopping on the spot. At this position the comfiest lever position is striaght forwards so while the bike is on the back wheel, slide the levers so their in parallel with the ground (flat ground obviously, don't do it on a hill) and then tighten them up. Should put the levers in a fairly nice place for both being on the back wheel and trackstanding, as they should be roughly in line with your forearms. As for the bite position, purely personal preference. Obviously the further out the bite position the less you have to pull it and the sooner your fingers cramp up due to being stretched out while trying to compress. Closer to the bar means their more compressed when your trying to compress them and doesn't lead to muscle strain quite as quick. I have mine so the final locking position is roughly in parallel with the bars. Works for me.

Ride longer sections. Thats the only thing i can say really. When i started natural i was crap at riding more than 3-4 rocks without getting cramps. I can ride about 10-15 now before i start feeling it, but its getting easier all the time. Your just gonna have to get your body used to it.

Why switch if the tensiles were good? Echo cranks are HEAVY!
-
I've not seen a snapped pair of echo cnc cranks yet . If i remember right there was a pair of tensiles snapped in the first couple of weeks after release.

Yes... 2 bashrings ..... I meant 18t screw on cog lol.
