I get an 8 week long project on my art course, which i can't decide is better or worse
-
Ha ha, must have taken a while getting the buildings THAT realistic

Michelin do green/blue ones. You should be able to find a pair on ebay or somewhere like evanscycles. The pinch protection is nowhere near as good as maxxis tyres though, especially on the rear. So although your bike might look nice, you'll be spending more time fixing it than riding it as you always seem to pinch more when your learning to gap.

I'm guessing the biggest gap for you was the one between the "new topic" button and the "search" one mearly inches away from it.

Obviously not enough to finish straightening it ...........

Sorry chris, i have to disagree with you on this one. My art course isn't an easy one. I have a lot of work to do and i have to be in from 9.30 till 4.30 everyday unless i blag a day off (which results in more work needing to be done). I'm working hard so that one day i can have the neccessary skills to do something i enjoy, like designing custom logo's doing concept art or even designing computer game characters. Not something as important as being a doctor, but none the less... its something i want to do. When i've finished my course (or should i say IF i finish ) i don't want to have to pay my loan every month while the government earns interest on it like they do. If i was able to keep the money in a savings account myself until the end of the year and earn interest on it, my loan would be payed off quicker and my debt wouldn't have been unnecessarily dragged out for longer than it needs to have been or become as large as it will do once its all mounted up. If i can reduce the time it takes to pay the loan i will, if its something as small as writing my name on an internet form and passing the word on then i will gladly do it. And as your in the same situation i would imagine, i don't get how you have such an unusual perspective on it.

Maybe its because their designed to fit his lever bodies that he released a few months later. Its a bit pointless making lever blades for a different companies lever body when all the nicely coloured ones fit your own lever body.

What Is Happening To My Brakes When I Bleed Them?
Krisboats replied to Onza-rider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
If your bleeding them with oil whilst only having had them at christmas then your a fool and look where it got you. If your bleeding them with water from oil, water is slightly thinner so if you have a small leak its easier for water to escape than oil. It only takes falling off or catching the cable on something and you can split the plastic hose, so just because you got them at christmas doesn't mean they can't have gained a leak. -
Fill your bathtub and do your frame

What Is Happening To My Brakes When I Bleed Them?
Krisboats replied to Onza-rider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Have you checked for leaks? Because if you've bled it several times and followed the lazy piston guide thats the only real thing left that it could be. Check around the cables and the seals for any water/oil, and squeeze the lever while looking to see if any comes out. -
What! Every organic disc pad i've used has been crap. If you want a sharp and well holding disc brake get sintered pads. They're the ones i've found to work the best.

So let me get this straight? The money from the loan gets payed, they keep the interest, then the loan becomes bigger because the interest mounts up? So I'm gonna be paying more so they can make some more money? Thats skanky as f***! If i did the same with my bills they'd not be very happy. Why arent you paying your bills sir? Well i figured if i pay them back at the end of the year i get to make interest on it and you still get your money. Erm, no, it doesn't work like that sir. Sorry if i got it wrong, i have a headache and can't concentrate on reading all that text.

Dont suppose your running a stupidly stiff booster on an ordinarily rigid frame are you? My joypads were heaps better after i'd removed my control booster. They had noise, bite and lock. I was well chuffed. Cheap fix too

Should have know it'd have been moved

Aluminium and plastic doesn't rust so its not really useful in a hs33. I use water, never used anti freeze. If it freezes the pads clamp the rim, and its so cold i wont be riding anyway.

Its in chit-chat. The clocks changing and people buying ps3's are in this section and they're not to do with trials... don't see you complaining about that. I've heard good things about the 24" dmr, although i thought it was called something different to transition. Had a quick play on one and it felt nice, but i can't say i had a big enough go to give you a full run down on it. If i wanted a 24" one thoguh i'd probably get the dmr though. The warranty with their stuff is pretty good too, if something breaks you take it to the nearest dmr dealer (theres 3 in my local town so they are quite common) and the dealer sorts it all out for you.

I was pedalling down a hill as fast as i could a little while ago (a bit faster than the cars go down the hill) when my foot slipped off the pedal and i ended up flipping over the bars and sliding down the road on my shoulder. I only had a little red mark on my arm and was able to get up and carry on riding home without really thinking about it. I slid for over 20 metres in a t-shirt. Been hit in the head with a golf ball that was hit with a driver 15-20 feet away. Been hit by 2 cars now. Did that rolling bunnyhop bail in the Ausch vid and got straight up still smiling. Been electricuted twice cutting through the cable with hedge trimmers. Fallen off a 15 foot pair of ladders, well i say fell, the ladders fell and i went too. Never really have a lot to show for it. Guess some people are just lucky. I do have a friend though who, no lie, if you flick her... the next day she has a bruise the size of a golf ball where you flicked her.

Thats like an allen key multi tool, ajustable spanner, pliers, chain tool, monkey wrench. I take about 5 times more than that every time i go riding. To be fair, he can't actually tell you what tools you can and cannot take with you on a ride, despite how suspicious it looked. And especially if their all bike related in some way, i mean fair enough if you have a mini crowbar, a knife and a glass cutter in there i could see where he's coming from but seeing as you didn't..... I would have had a right go at him personally if he'd have said that.

Bike Been Stolen At Bulwell Trian Staion
Krisboats replied to ryan-oakley's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
That sucks. I had the same thing nearly happen to me yesterday in birmingham, some geeza rode off on my bike. I can run faster than he could pedal though and i have my bike back.... i can only imagine how bad you would feel not having yours back at all. -
What Are The Best Pinch Free Tyres For Stock?
Krisboats replied to whostheman_121's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Classic example of useless help. Thats like saying a a lotus elise is a good car to go off roading in Maxxis dual ply tyres are definately the best i've ever used. I'm a heffer and i very rarely get punctures. And they come recommend by the guys at tartys (always good advice) -
Bingo. I'd personally think 135degrees is too much rise to be a good all round performer. You'll be able to pull up easier but i'd imagine this will be at a slight loss in your ease of gapping. Echo control stem with 1-2 5mm spacers depending on what you like?

..........Clear who the grown ups are

That wall got battered Am i the onyl one who doesn't hink tucked sidehops actually look that good

Beau's denguras looked very well made today. The machining on the lever body is actually quite nice, and it seems very well laid out with regards to cable placement/bleedscrew access/etc. With regards to power, i'm not sure theres a lot of difference, but if i had the money i'd probably get one just so i could know its actually a decent lever body and slave cylinder build as opposed to magura's non cnc'd stuff.

Fast helps loooooooooads. Makes it almost an easy technique.
