I reckon if people are over 18 and post well and don't make crap up/start arguments then they should be put up for being a senior member, i mean whats the point in having a SM section and the ability to make people SM's if theres only a select few who ever actually get put in there. I mean, that picture shows a tech section, surely that would be helpful to people, and maybe people can contribute ideas and imformation into it to help others, yet we don't get the chance. I think if anything it actually seems a little condesending, like you have to be truly worthy and know the right people to be made a SM.

Leicester Or Birmingham Ride!

I'm another 661 veggie wrap user, well when i do actually use them. They are comfy though and being neoprene are flexible enough to not hinder my riding, though do get hot in summer.

Unfortunately i have uni on thursday (9.30-4.00 art student ) and i'm having today off so can't really miss thursday as well. If the leicester ride falls through though i'll be there.

Ha ha, how pathetic can you get... "this is our ride thread, get your own!".... very childish attitude and one that could have been avoided if you'd looked at the post just before where boumsong says: To which mart replied: Kind of makes sense now don't it

I'm another big'un i guess compared to the majority on here. 6'5" I reckon if my gapping technique were right it could help with that, and, if i generally didn't laze about and stopped going out drinking on the nights before rides i would be a significantly better rider. here's to hoping the past few weeks and upcoming ones help a lot.

What Are The Most Annoying Things You Find When Riding?
Krisboats replied to Ben Beckett's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Not had one for over a year myself, currently running a £1.95 wilko's tube (1.95-2.1) in my 2.5 tyre and not had a single problem. I don't like it when you get arsewholes who try and tell you to get lost and come over red in the face before they've even gotten to you, shouting and swearing telling you to piss off. That annoys me most, fair enough, ask me nicely and i'll go.... shout at me like that and you get told where to go... usually to go call the police which is often stopped by saying the police have just been past and talked to us and said their glad we're not doin drugs and that if someone should ASK for us to leave then we should. They then stop in astonishment as they realise it might have been easier just to keep their cool and ask nicely. -
Disc Brakes- How To Clean And Bed Them In
Krisboats replied to Bridport-Rider-Dave's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
More readily available than washing up liquid? Like washing up liquid can't be bought at: Somerfield Co-Op Asda Aldi Spar Tesco's Sainsbury's Morrisons Petrol stations Convenience stores Wilkinsons And yes they did mean washing up liquid, Its a degreaser so takes off all the crap, and seeing as its designed to remove grease i don't reckon you'll find any greasey substances in it, hence, not leaving a residue on pads. People all over have used it and its been fine, they DID mean washing up liquid. EDIT: oooh, just seen what you meant, dunno about that, i boil my brake pads in a saucepan them whack them in a pre-heated oven to dry so i can't imagine disc brake cleaner being much worse. -
Not got a netgear router then? Doesnt work for my netgear one... it just continually loads nothing till i stop it. Might be worth noting what router you do have simon then we have two makes covered.

Always personal preference, you wouldn't wear something uncomfy just to be like everyone else. I've had 661 gloves (comps 03 and 06's) and they were nice, quite padded on the 06 version but not much callus handage going on. The 03 ones were thinner but callused me up a shed load. Also had some azonic gloves, they were great and a bargain at £5 and were quite thin again. They ended up making calluses very sore and it ripped off and bled everywhere. My favourites so far are the 06 661 comp gloves, although my friends troy lee gloves are mighty fine comfy as f**k gloves.

I think he means that you didnt read the thread, we pointed out that it'd been copied and pasted, something that won't get you validated any quicker, especially if it looks like you try to pass it off as your own and don't include the pictures/spell like that all the time, which in this case he doesn't. Hence, you bein a fool ( ) and that you don't read the thread. -
Ha ha, mine does too every single night, i thought i was the only one :$

He's right, log into the router settings, usally by typing http://192.168.01 into your web address bar (for netgear anyway) it then asks for username/password which is usually set to (until you change it): Username: admin Password: password Allow all wirelss connections for a start, then set the laptop looking for the router, once its found it setup an access list so that only computers you select can access the connection and your all done. You might have to switch off the firewall on the laptop or set up firewall rules in order to access the network, for most firewalls you can set the security to high and it'll ask you what to do when it tries connecting, just tell it to always allow it and you'll be alright from there.

Thats what people said about mobile phones and text messaging, and again when cameras came into being a phone accessory. The wii IS going to be popular because of its playability, while the others are more serious consoles the wii is going to be THE family/friends console for the next couple of years, or until the other pull something miraculous out their arses.

Freewheel/freehub? Which Would Have A Faster Engagement?
Krisboats replied to ogre's topic in Trials Chat
Ha ha, he knows it. I think people get all up tight about such silly things. Its a sodding engagement, you still have to account for the chain being slack just after either freewheel/hub designs have engaged so the difference will be (and this word doesnt really convey just how unneccesarily picky your being) negligable. And as poopipe said, if your preloading the pedals it makes shit all difference anyway, myself... i'm running a hope xc, fresh products tensioner and have enough chain slack to push the chain against my chainstay. Do i complain? Do i feck, i learn to ride better. -
Had a ps2, didn't like it, bought an xbox. In case you were wondering the ps2 games all seemed to be too chavified where as xbox had more gamer games like halo/halo 2. Not got a 360, not going to get one, pc is best for me though not very good for when mates come over.

Pretty obvious the way his writing is so good during the post, then at the end of the post it drops off a cliff and dies with the way he says: By which i think he meant, -
Did you watch the end of the last episode of series 2 at all? The bit with the two people in an antarctic looking place. When the sky went crazy their monitoring station picked it up on the radar, they promptly rang desmonds bird, who'd obviously been looking for him.... hence finding desmond.

Great film, me and mates all throoughly loved it. I think we were the ones who found it funny the most, the rudegoy gangster black kids who went in didn't seem so amused at half the stuff, sod them its their loss. I especially liked the bear scaring the children in the ice cream van. Shitting in the street. And trying to hug and kiss that american guy in the street who ran away and borat chased him while the dude was screaming like a girl.
