  1. e thirteen make a 22t 1, also truvative so some solid alloy ones too ive used both of these but in largr sizes and been really impressed steer clear of dmr ones, they are utter cheese
  2. what do you think are your top ten cds? im struggling to decide, cos i find very few albums really blow me away, just individual songs really so far i have these, but no doubt ive forgotten some that i completely love: gorillaz-demon days the complete stone roses jimmy eat world-bleed american radiohead-the bends rage against the machine (cant decide which album i like the most though!) the streets-original pirate material funeral for a friend-casually dressed and deep conversation tracy chapman(but i cant remember the album name cos i cant find the cd ) hed (pe)-broke wu tang-the collective anyway, this is partially just to see what other damn fine cds are around, cos i really wanna expand my collection its also nice to see peoples different opinions on good music (dont let this turn into a bitch fight saying certain albums are shit...)
  3. probably doesnt sound realistic cos hes measured the thickness
  4. i guess he means trials is new to the majority, bmx took off in a big way when it started, trials didnt, it wasnt really til the 90's (or at least it seems to me) when trials really became noticed?
  5. raceface cant make cranks for shit, they always snap/the tapers always screw over, i havent met anyone who has liked theirs(including myself) i managed to screw over thier topline diabolous cranks in a day...
  6. cash+sexual favours if kris is anything like you ben
  7. we got given rape alarms, they were put to good use at primary school i cant remember any talks, we just got given rubbers, with 'say no to strangers'on them of which we scribbled out 'no' and put 'yes'-damn we were cool
  8. stu, help me relight my fire, ive got 3 f**kin sweet bikes, and i just cant seem to find any enthusiasm to ride them
  9. i heard lacing them up is really difficult.... i cant belive how terrible that pun was....
  10. if i knew it was for sex chat, i would have posted the number to the forum
  11. isnt that the case with most hubs though? well at least cassette hubs
  12. its a pity we cant have a freecoaster that would withstand trials freehub abuse, would kick ass-unless there is one out i dont know about..........
  13. nah, 1 has eyelets around the lace holes, totally different, the viz ones also come in a million garish colours
  14. i have a spare 1 of them callipers kickin about if you wanna buy it? pm me if you do
  15. 22:18, as for bars, get easton ea70s top bars, also found truvativ hussefelt bars to be an incredibly dependable bar
  16. *awaits viz to copy the design*
  17. he he, you knows it nah warranty isnt a problem, cos its not like he can get a new frame and sell this 1, no1 wants them, so he may as well breathe as much life into it as possible with a new wheel and more abuse...and then kill it., more time to save for a better frame then
  18. but jt, you cant even grind your rim properly, so no wonder you wouldnt cut your frame its not really that bad/hard to do, and theres plenty of room to do so
  19. bloody hell some people are retarded....heres an easy fix rity, if you cant get the brake to set up with a 19inch wheel as it is, then go to your horizontal dropouts and cut the slots longer-that means the wheel can sit further back(may require a half link) and so be in a better position-worked for me anyway im pretty sure the t bird and t vee were the same frame just with different brake mountings, thats what appears to be the case anyway and dont be scared to cut the frame, its not like you will keep it that long, you will soon realise you will be wanting a better frame asap
  20. any chance of a link to these bbb pads?
  21. they define street as tapping that big ass wall, or sidehopping onto a rail, whatever for real street, a good cheap frame is the base ta26, frickin awesome lil bike-i dumped my curtis to go back to one curtis frames are ok, but ive never been too impressed by the quality of them and their customer service is among the worst out in my experience leeson frames seem to be mighty popular among 26 and 24inch riders, however i havent ridden 1 yet, so cant really comment on personal experience, clive seems to actually care about his customers too unlike gary... the megamo frames are pretty sweet for street too, i really liked my radical i found around the 1030-1040 mark to be a really good *comprimise* between uber flicky street bikes length and long, low and shit bikes overall i would say the base, seeing as it wont be such a huge jump for you as your last bikes have been pretty long, so it wont feel as odd, and also cos they are kickass frames
  22. i think you misread that nick, he said it was a curtis as for long forks, charge now produce decent long forks that are light, identity also have produced some new park forks, but i dont think they have disc mounts the new trailblades are qr20 only too
  23. trials rigids will be too short, your bb will be far too low, you will need some longer rigids available from the likes of dmr, on one, planet x and charge run the seat a tad lower and you have a sturdy little starter bike, thats the kinda set up most of us ran when we started, itll get you by til you have the basics covered, then think about changing the frame and rear hub to something slightly more trials orientated, also maybe try running a grind with some nice pad slike koxx bloxx browns, a good rear brake will inspie confidence in your riding and will help you improve alot have fun chap
