  1. i ran judies after my curtis forks snapped, and it was mighty fun, they didnt hold me back, infact they opened up a whole new level of riding trouble is i went back to rigid cos my mate needed the judies
  2. i ran bmx tubes.........nothing wrong with them
  3. more than likely luna jobbies master french boy
  4. hes rides mod mate^^^ monty seem to make a decent tube i hear, heard something about maxxis too i dunno how you fat bastards manage to pinch you mod tubes, i had a creepy crawler at 15psi and smalle dit lots, never punctured infact i havent had a pinch in almost 2 years.......
  5. dont chris king claim to make their own bearings in house? so how does the headset have the same bearings? i wouldnt have thought king would wanna supply the main asset to the sales of their headsets to somebody else, as people would just buy yours instead...
  6. but itll make us look shithot
  7. just to help show how good they are, bens friends revolver has had a few owners, charel, me, stevea and snowy, and its still going strong the bearings in them are fantastic, they build a dishless wheel and they are solid as hell
  8. my rear crvs do offer modulation, and awesome lock, its just my front which is overly powerful if you can, find the red plaz rubber, thats what i have, and its frickin amazing
  9. i use ceramics front and rear with my v brakes, using plaz crv pads=kick ass, spanish flies also=kick ass i didnt get along with heatsink pads, they seemed a tad too bitey with no hold, as for standards, im yet to try them, i may give them a go on the front and mines too powerful
  10. i snapped a formula rotor after a few weeks, that was back when all i did was endos.... hope are generally pretty good with their products that break, if its within warranty you will almost certainly get a replacement
  11. i agree, the acting wasnt top notch, but im guessing that wont go againt you as you will be marked on fillimg and editing? anyway, nice attempt, i felt alot of the lighting seemed wrong, the angles and stuff were good but the lighting let it down. i really liked the section with the band floodlit, looked quite cool potentially that could be a really good video, perhaps going back and refilming a few bits and changing the begining good luck with it, you have some nice ideas and hopefully after a few more videos, they will look tons better

    Ben Cox Vid

ha ha yeah thats what i thought ive been riding as long as you ben glad to see you improving ben, certainly getting the hang on stuff, but my oh my, sort that rear brake-slippy? get a v brake bitch
  13. if the plates not needed, then why did it crack there? not a dig or anything, but surely if a frame didnt need a certain section of gusset, for instance cos it was already strong enough, then why would it crack there? surely it being uber strong it would put stresses somewhere else and so the crack would appear somewhere else in the frame if theres a crack, then leave it, frames like that just aint worse the hassle
  14. sorry dan valentines day will suck for me this year, im too much of a scared shithead to tell her i like her, so ill be uber depressed that day and charel you have a point but women dont care, its valentines day and in thier eyes, you MUST get something
  15. as far as im aware of, a grind really is the best way to run them, mine were always mint on a grind, but when it got smoother they didnt quite have the hold i was wanting just grind you tryall, itll be funny when it dents like fookery
  16. dont come crying back to us when the brake feels wank o yeah cheers for the pic of the lx callipers, may try a set out sometime
  17. i could measure up mine if you like? im lazy though, so i will only do it if i really have to
  18. i have saints on my kona stinky, and i love them, they piss over any other crank ive run (24/7, dmr mk2, truavtive hussefelt, raceface diabolous, middleburn, etc) they arent all that hefty either regarding trials use, they would be fine for an all out street rider looking for strength, who doesnt wish to run shitty small bearing isis bbs or have the weight of 3 piece hones are essentially lx (or xt i cant remeber which) cranks with a different bb i think? i read a review in dirt about it, they dont have replaceable pedal inserts either (if that bothers anyone?) currently, i dont think there really is a better crank out for extreme use (raceface diabolous cranks suck majorly)
  19. i have the perfect pedal for you.........wellgo b38s i have them on my base and they are awesome, coming from the monster grip of shindigs, these offer similar levels of grip, are uber low profile (like atomlabs), have cartridge bearings and feel lovely also the bikehut x pedals seem worth considering, i havent used them on my trials bike yet, but on my commencal 24 and my kona stinky they rock-uber grippy both sets of pedals are 35quid too
  20. like you said on msn, you want a totally different brake to me, i really enjoy the ceramic, looks cool too grinds are totally fine, but they look really nasty and sound awful, i like the smoothness and control i get from my ceramics (well ok the front is over powerful right now...) anyway lets just see what it costs maybe a grind will have to suffice
  21. hes right, i had sram 9s, they were awful, even deore levers would provide a better level of stiffness and comfort and they are like 10quid a pair! as for lx arm being stiffer-are the new ones normal now? cos my old 1s were parallel push?
  22. ive made some in the past, i can show you the design if you wanan try it yaself
