  1. Come now, who has economy on their mind when converting to carbs Price sounds about right though I'd say
  2. One of them other Audi's people use the grilles off to put on MK1 Polo's but I can't remember the number of..?
  3. 944? I think you need some rules, I.e whoever guesses, posts up the next car, it'll just get messy otherwise!

    The Mighty Boosh

And THAT is what really kills Boosh - impressions.

    The Mighty Boosh

The moon was a crap addition, the whole second series was a massive let down for me.

    The Mighty Boosh

The first series was good, 4 years ago in my stoner years. Kinda went abit downhill since then but I've learnt to expect less, and enjoy the last 2 series more as a result. It's still good. Not amazing, but good.
  7. I can see a bent track rod, and you're giving up on it?! You could fix that for pence!!! I launched one of my old Golfs up a curb at 100mph, so hard the windscreen came out, bent just about everything and still put it back on the road!
  8. Alot of people use Eaton superchargers from new Mini's (M45), Merc's (M62), and Jags I think (M70something I think) and if I was going to do it, it'd be with an Eaton purely because they sound like an angry wasp People tend to use Rotrex or Vortech chargers on VR6's though, and from what I've read it's meant to be fairly straight forward, and good for 300+bhp I'm not sure if Bahn Brenner do their own aswell, I know they do the kits to charge a 16v..
  9. Well I'm beginning to panic a little, my biggest fear is flying. Later on today I'm flying to Limoge with Ryanair
  10. VR6 for the noise, 20VT (assuming that's what you mean) for the tunability. Personally though, turbo's don't seem right in VW's, especially older ones. It's all about the charger Edit - Just not G-Lader chargers
  11. Then steer well clear of it, G-Lader chargers are renound for blowing up, and they hardly make amazing power anyway... The only Corrado worth having is the VR6. A Corrado is a MK2 underneath, all the chassis, suspension, beams and such are all the same as MK2. I couldn't comment on how well they go or handle as I've never even been in a moving one, but I could never justify one (as mighty as they may look) because they're just weighty MK2's that cost twice as much.
  12. Good luck! The prices are pretty resonable, just be prepared to argue that the car you need a part for does actually exist Like MK2 Golfs but 200kg heavier
  13. You ever seen the Artz Golfs?
  14. So you'll do exactly what I did in your situation, umm and arr over it for far too long, tell her it won't happen too many times, and eventually she'll find someone else, then you'll miss her even more... Then she'll still make hints she likes you, but everything will just get more and more complicated

    £1000

Happy days! Time to leave the country before it gets even worse methinks.
  16. I had it about 8 times one year, to the point where breathing hurt sometimes. But I've always been too much of a wuss to have them out, and the doctor said it's not really done so often anymore either, not that I would've anyway Not much help really, sorry
  17. The 9a's are found in Corrado's and are transverse. The 6a and ACE is from the Audi 80 sport 16v, and is longitudinal. I used a 6a in my Golf, purely because an 80 is such a cheap donor car, you just bolt all the mounts, brackets, pulleys and manifolds from any transverse 16v straight onto them (which all came off my dead KR that was in it in the first place), whereas the 9a is all ready to go. The ACE is the same as the 6a (but from the facelift Audi 80's) but apparently the oil filter and housing comes off at the wrong angle so you end up with clearance issues, but again, you can swap the whole housing over. The Audi donor I got, cost me £175 off ebay, and I made a large portion of that back selling all the bits off it
  18. Yeah just drop the box out, it's just an almighty pain in the arse, a 2 man job really...
  19. What do you need all that for?! No need for a 13, no need for spring compressors, it's no coincidence that spark plug sockets are 22mm and have a spanner bit on them too, and you don't really need the allen key or adjustable either Easiest way by far, take your car to a garage before you start, have all 4 top nuts zapped loose with an air gun as that's the only ballache part of the job. Then just do all the bottom bolts/nuts yourself Easily do it in an hour if you do it that way, including fag/tea breaks
