  1. I actually quite liked it, even the random 'riding around not doing much' parts Yeah having a video full of that makes the files huge which sucks, but maybe if there was more substance (moves etc) that could be awesome
  2. Can you do multi colour or just single? If you can do multi (actually either way) I will probably do up some ideas and send them to you
  3. Anybody else riding today? Me, Darren, (Pete!) and hopefully a few more are so if you fancy it give us a shout/track us down! Would come in again tomorrow but working all day and final exam on Monday (Woohoo, Chemistry Synoptic paper, lovely!) Next week onwards though....
  4. Enjoyed that, and you can't beat a good bit of GangStarr In for a session today so let's see what I can find after that!
  5. Should be fine, and as suggested before it could be built up 4x Could also (possibly) be that they used spokes which were too long I would imagine, but so long as you got them built by a decent wheelbuilder they should be Ok, and will have been done with the correct spokes
  6. I'm sure you can, you sure you're thinking of the STS?! Normally wouldn't bother you, but since I was running one on my jump bike... Sorry dude, read it wrong... Missed the remodelling bit
  7. Actually quite like it!! Yeah so maybe it could be improved and a few fundamental things need changing, but on the whole the general concept is quite cool That Ruthless is awesome! Remember seeing that ages ago, cheers Mark!
  8. Sir MixALot - Baby Got Erection (Back) Been Various Versions - Girls Just Wanna Have Erection (Fun)
  9. Sorry Pete but that made me laugh after considering your (rather unfortunate) situation... Glad to hear about the walking too Have fun, may be in Plymouth next weekend so if so will give you a shout
  10. Ah fair play, I always imagined they'd be somewhere nearer to 1.6-2.0mm or so myself, but just goes to show what I know doesn't it! Why do you need to know Pete? Is this a new project for you whilst the leg is screwed?!
  11. Butted tubing maybe? 1mm seems rather thin to have full-length. I could be wrong, just would imagine it would be a little more solid at the weld areas
  12. Yeah but what I was getting at was that this has/is currently being discussed in at least one other thread in NMC, so a chit chat style topic on it already, and therefore not requiring another thread again
  13. Yeah, and the situation isn't going to get better without them being told really is it? Yeah NMC is here to find the guys who deserve to get validated, however, it doesn't mean that it SHOULD be messed up/filled with crap
  14. Yes, funnily enough it's just as they show it at the end of the video...
  15. Does this really need to be in ANOTHER thread? Little pointless it would seem
  16. And remember that most tees and hoodies are worn fairly baggy/loose, so any protection will have to take this into account. It's all well and good having a really effective ergonomic spine guard, but you gotta make sure its at your spine... (as in not swinging off to the side - grab one side of your t-shirt and pull it round to the front of you, kinda explains what I was getting at a bit more...)
  17. Awesome, anyone seen the dragon one, is soooooo good! will see if i can find a link, really is amazing. AHA! http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2004/m-...p?fromrelated=1 also - http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2006/es...p?fromrelated=1 and a few others
  18. 4X yes, never heard of anybody running 5X, however it would most likely be possible, just need longer spokes and some way of lacing them. Although since 3X is adequate for most people, and 4X for anyone else, it's hardly necessary really, weight:strength addition ration not really much (as in for the weight you're adding you aren't gaining much more strength) Just run a nice old school roadie solid (disc) wheel!
  19. Little thing called rules. Annoying for many, some are fine with it Personally I don't ride competitively, so singlespeed does me fine. Cheaper, lighter (not that that bothers me), less to go wrong etc... Advantages to gears too, but I'll stick to just the one...
  20. That was awesome! Haven't been liking a vid that much in ages! Personally, I preferred that to the more usual 'trials/street' vids, but I think that's from my background in street/dirt. Had lovely flow throughout and made it seem so easy! Top vid
