  1. Download VLC player I had to - but then it works fine Only niggle being that it's too short! Could watch that for hours (well, ok, you may need to introduce another curb perhaps...)
  2. Todge gets my vote. Clean editing, nice and chilled, pure and simple Yeah others were good, but for me that summed up one hell of a lot of stuff - the riding, the music, the curb comp! Well done guys Luke
  3. No worries, just have a look, and if you can't find what you are looking for after that, see me on MSN and I'll see what I can do Few in here: CLICK ME
  4. There was a thread full of them - try the search perhaps. If not then look in the bike pics section, and in the owners' gallery on the leeson site. If you add me to MSN I have a few I can send you.
  5. They ride however you want... Ah the beauty of custom geometry! Nah, there's an increasing number of people riding them, and I haven't heard of any that have been poor. If you have the cash, then it's a pretty safe bet that if you buy one, you will be more than just satisfied. Great customer service before/during/after purchase from Clive, top bloke If you get one, you will NOT be disappointed
  6. Nice work mate, looks like you lot had fun!
  7. And/or a tensioner for fine tuning - unless you have horizontal dropouts it's unlikely you'll be able to run a chain without one
  8. Hi, Sorry Wayne, can't help with your situation but thought this was the best place to put this rather than starting a new thread. Essentially just a quick question about the Kelly Farm round. I'm hoping to head up and catch it (now that I've got my car working again) but not of a level to compete in the event, however, I'd quite like to have a little play around, see what it's like to ride comp trials rather than my usual street stuff. If I was to turn up and watch the round, and just happened to have my bicycle in the back of the car... would I be able to have a play about on some of the stuff there or do you need to be a club member, have insurance etc. even to do that? Sorry to those of you to whom this is clear, but I've never been able to get to a round before, so I'm not really sure of the way things are run
  9. Check out: Matt Berridge's vidsTM1/TM2Jon Shrewsburyfor starters, and keep an eye out in the vids section on the forum
  10. No worries mate, glad to be able to help. Well done for going through Tartybikes too. Great service before, during and after purchase, and will be happy to help with any questions/queries you might have.
  11. If the frame is for 4-bolt maguras, then I'm afraid you're gonna need to run 4-bolt mounts/clamps/whatever. If you saw those echos and perhaps were trying to run your old ones to save a bit of cash, try looking in the For Sale/Wanted section, as there are often people with spares from whom you can pick them up. Mind you, for £15 it's not a huge problem really!
  12. Then have a (late) welcome to the forum mate! Good thread too, nice and structured, to the point, clear, spelling etc. all fine Keep posting like that and you'll be sorted soon enough
  13. Yes, 24" with a bmx edge... Not stock like yourself my good man
  14. Same here - riding's nothing special but know how to have a good laugh! Love to hitch along but could do with someone to ride/crash with each day (in the driving and sleeping sense, as well as on the bike!) If not get your asses down toward Plymouth or something and I'll just do the odd day
  15. That would be hideous! Too light a gear even for trials 24:16 on the other hand is lovely! It must be, I ride it!
  16. Only thing I would add is that if you are browsing any BMX shops whilst looking, be sure to buy a 1/8 chain rather than a 3/16 chain. I won't go into too much now, but this is the only real size difference with chains. If you're going singlespeed though I would go for the KMC, many people use them, very few have problems. Luke
  17. Now here's an idea: Buy a standard chain, as you are running standard kit Put it on to see how long it needs to be Take out as many links as required Now then, was that hard? Seriously mate, just buy a chain (recommend the KMC Kool Chain personally) and stick it on. Take out however many links are necessary until it's the right length, and you're done. It really is just put on and adjust....

  19. Never mind, sorry Thought I had one but remembered brother has been using it for the last year!
  20. Mind if I crash the party? Haven't ridden Plymouth for ages, and now I'm just getting back into things again so would be good Time/place?
  21. "Big bad bike" ...IT'S A MOD! But looks nice anyway
  22. Yeah: "What the hell are you playing at?!" Gash as a chicken's left testicle in a blender
  23. Is it just me or are your bars rotated too far forward? Perhaps your wrists just bend the other way to most peoples... Anyway, looks nice, but the bars, red tyre, and king stickers ruin it for me Personal preference...
