  1. Please don't fill the forum with pirating and stuff If you and your friends want to do so, then please keep it private, not put it on an open forum such as this one. Sorry to sound like an arse, but for the sake of £10 or so to go out and buy it, you're really just stopping the money getting back to those guys who have put the time/effort and money into the project to make it happen. It's a respect thing, you see...
  2. OK, have PMed Matt, but just in case he doesn't get to see it in time, can anybody help with directions please! I'll be coming from the Plymouth direction, probably via the A38, but from there I'm stumped. Someone said it was towards Newton Abbot, but that's all I've been told Tried plugging it into AA/RAC Routefinders etc, but they don't have Hedge Barton as a known location Thanks, Luke
  3. Yeah, and one hell of a noise! Got half an order through from SelectBikes today (one pair of pads... ) and just been out with them Loud as fook! Now I know some people love that, but I like it quiet as poss really, so bit annoying! Any way I can shut the buggers up?! (without losing power preferably!)
  4. Congratulations, been running mine like that for a while now Great fun, but need to do something about it really Meh, effort and money, bugger!
  5. Anybody fancy a kettle? So shiny you can see youself taking pictures naked in it...
  6. Give me a shout as soon as you know, as there's a train in about 12ish so that would be ideal for me to get (no parking issues etc.) You've got my number so call/text whenever You up again soon Kieran?
  7. Sounds good, but now I have a working car I'll see if I can hitch a train so I may be in at a different time, just saves me getting lifts then Unless I find free parking, in which case sorted!
  8. Yeah, and I'm going to Birmingham Shall certainly be down for a few rides though (bring mother home some washing etc.) Oh, and Alex, if I thought there was something in it for me, maybe I'd offer hehe
  9. Pete you fag! It's his mates birthday, read the post! Still, get him hammered and laid, s'all good!
  10. Don't worry Alex I'll make it in for both if I can (As in, if I can do friday, I will, ratehr than one or the other) Tyler, you got MSN? Rather give number over there than here (no offence anyone, just rather not post it fully openly online, get enough crap as it is!) My MSN address is in my profile, feel free to add
  11. Nothing's up with it, but due to laziness and skintness I figured I'd wait 'til August to tax my car (if you do it mid-July they'll charge you the full month basically) so what with tomorrow being 1st August and all I'll get it taxed up etc. Be weird driving properly again after few weeks off (before accident really, so at least 3 weeks) Been for a few trips since, but nothing much What sort of time are you likely to get in to town then? About 12ish or something perhaps?
  12. You out during the day on Wednesday or just the evening? Do both!! Should have a legal car again by tomorrow so should make life a little easier too If I can find free parking in town somewhere then absolutely awesome!
  13. Erm, if I can get in then yeah, I should be there. What sort of time will you guys be in and leaving? Sure if Alex and Pete etc. are about we can get them out too. Think I want to learn to tap, as could be pretty damn useful, as well as working on a bit of back wheel control (turning and the like) to open up a bit more stuff. Maybe work on a few other things too, sidehops etc. Will be out tomorrow (not Plymouth, just Noss ) trying to make myself ride switch (so that what is now 'switch' becomes my 'regular' if you see what I mean, to sort out my f**ked up riding!)
  14. Hey Tyler, Nice to see you guys up in Plymouth today, always nice to see a few new riders about as Pete has said. Should be riding most weekends and a few wekkday rides too when it's nice enough. Told work I can't do any Saturday's to keep them free Was a pretty cool ride other than the rain (and of course your back, which I didn't see but remember seeing you in considerable pain just after!) Pinched a spoke key from Halfords and sorted out the booster so it no longer rubs, now have perfectly true wheels again and it feels lovely! As for the brake situation, asuuming you're running the Mono Mini up front (would seem a little silly the other way round ) then I'd go for something along the lines of the Hope XC (£37) or Hope Pro II (£45) [both prices from www.tartybikes.co.uk] and build it up nice and strong. Should be just the job. Might be wise to change the standard pads on the brake too, to EBC reds or similar. The softer compound will give you more bite and just generally be a bit grippier, but at the expense of wear rate of course. Find a compromise to suit your budget. For your rear brake, if you want to keep the grind, look at Koxx Browns or possibly a set of Plaz (look in the pad reviews thread for, well, reviews funnily enough) Should sort you out, but all depends on your cash flow really. Anyway, hope that helps a little, and look forward to riding with you again, Luke (Guy on the 24")
  15. El bumpo, just to bring it back up incase someone hasn't seen it and fancies it
  16. Haha Kierans wrist! Will be good to see him out though, and Prawn, especially if youve got a few other guys with you too you pimp! Anyway, Im off for food and stuff, Laters homies
  17. Hey guys, The Animal Tour hits Plymouth this Monday (31st) so, with Martyn demoing around a bit, a few of us are going to head in for a ride. Should be a load of the more local guys, and then basically anybody else who can make it is welcome. If you fancy it, let us know, and we can sort when and where to meet/numbers for those who need them etc. I would imagine it would be something along the lines of 11 at the Copthorne or so, but if anybody has any suggestions then fire away Anyway, just thought I'd post up on it so you have the option there, would be good to see a few of you about Take it easy, Luke
  18. May just be coincidence, but do you always curl up and screw the stem when you're on the back wheel? Looks nice and fun though, hope you had a good time
  19. Haha Pete, you have to at least have something resembling a word in order for spellchecker to pick up on it...
  20. Pete Ed's still about, had PMs from him recently and TF username is Dave85
  21. Try again... Loads of different ROADtrips going on, all with different dates/locations, just look in each thread to find out
  22. Haha, was such a smooth stack! Can he feel his ass again yet? Not looking hopefull for tomorrow by the way, will keep trying to sort something but doesn't look good at the minute May be in on Saturday though with Darren, will give you a shout if we are
  23. Can a grab a number so I can hook up with you? Not sure what time I'll be in that's all, so can't really organise a time and place too easily
