  1. This might sound obvious but make sure you are tensioning the chain at the slackest point. Adjust the snail cams so that the chain is as tight as possible and then spin the cranks, if there is a slack point in the chain you may be able to adjust the snailcams one click further therefore pulling the wheel back more. It's not ideal riding with the tyre rubbing on the frame I know it would annoy the f**k out of me even though it would only take a couple of rides for the chain to stretch.
  2. Adam what is the main goal you want to achieve with your cardio? For example fat loss, fitness or are you preparing for an event/race? Everyone hates running, I can't stand it believe me! But if I am cutting up or have the intention of losing fat then I know that the most effective way to burn fat (along side a clean low carb diet) is sprint/interval training. I also keep my attendance to the gym consistent throughout the year. The only thing that changes is my diet and training routine depending on whether I am bulking through the winter or cutting up for summer. If you aren't overly concerned about weight training or aesthetics and are more interested in fitness you could look at sports such as football, rugby or boxing.
  3. Damon an indoor place to ride in the North West would be great, you have my support.
  4. Good vid, shows the good atmosphere and different riding styles nice which made it nice to watch Look forward to riding with everyone again soon.
  5. Riding was boss, but that music choice was shockingly bad for a TGS street video - bit of a shame to watch riding like that on mute!

  7. Thanks very much I intend on using more music like this, it's what I listen to when I train and on the way to rides. Constructive criticism is good you're not being harsh at all! I do both arse to floor and half squats to hit my sticking points. The clip from this video is from a set of 8 arse to bench squats to work on my sticking points. I'm currently using German Volume Training, the leg routine consists of 10x10 squat @ 40% of my 1 rep max with very strict form superset with 10x10 stiff leg deadlift. Going to see how that influences my riding will let everyone know
  8. Current pile, Adamant 07 long
  9. The deng freehubs weren't all that great if I remember correctly. You've got a couple of options there, you just need to think it through carefully before you replace any parts. You already have a fixed sprocket on the front so it may prove difficult to remove that to add a freewheel. Additionally you have to consider that you will also have buy a sprocket to go on the back so it doesn't work out THAT much cheaper considering the cost fixed hub, freewheel and screw on sprocket. One reason why you might choose a freehub on the rear is that a fixed hub will be more difficult to change gear ratios. Furthermore your chain will wear marginally faster if you use a front freewheel. If you would like to run a freewheel on the rear, you have to consider the gear ratio you wish to use. You could try to buy a used pro2 or chris king? I have to say I do prefer a rear freehub, the beauty of buying a new pro2 is the ease to service the hub, readily available replacement parts and exceptionally good warranty and service from hope.
  10. Ahh man, I know my style and technique is so bad right now! These clips are from my first 2 rides back after a good amount of time off the bike so I am very sketchy. I promise to everyone my next video is going to be BIG! Bigger moves, big drop gaps and some lines for a change haha. I'm glad you can appreciate the gym footage, the lifts are my personal bests! 180kg bench, 255kg deadlift and 260kg squat which I am very proud of. I hope you will enjoy my next video more
  11. BIke looks unreal, such a clean build! Video soon?
  12. Jeeeesus, Bigman was a bigger man than I thought!
  13. I'm around 95kg, I always break parts but that could be more due to the kind of riding I do. I'm sure you will be fine at that weight. I'm sure there are much heavier riders than me, Bigman must have weighed 18/19stone at his biggest and he a really smooth rider. Haha I do train really hard but that has never happened to me. I have heard all kinds of gym related injuries but I have never suffered any. Cheers man, bail was hard! I was so winded at the time. Worse thing about it was I had to squat in the gym a couple of days later :\
  14. Power house, great video man - love this side of bike trials! Power, style and technique. Look forward to your new vids when you get back out on the bike.
  15. My quads are 27" which isn't really tiny, calves let me down though just can't gain any size on them. Any tips? Cheers for the comment though, should be much better when I get my technique back Kind of haha, I do struggle abit though! I always get asked about my gym training, and the lifts I put in are my personal best lifts while I was off the bike. I just put them in because they are important to me more than anything. Deffo come ride Liverpool there is so much here to ride.
  16. So I have recently just started riding again after 2/3 years break. I managed to collect a few clips from my first 2 rides back and I have combined them with some gym footage - here is the result!
  17. That was really cool, great edit too
  18. Both sides of the vee brake need screws, the screws enable you to fine tune the distance of the pads from the rim. If one side isn't returning to the right position - tighten the screw on that side to push the vee arm out and off the rim. Try and aim for an equal distance on each sides between the brake pad and the rim. If the brake still doesn't return with the screw all the way in you may need to take the arms off and set the spring in the top hole on the vee boss. Hope i've helped
  19. Buy the Zoot, and try to buy a cheap mtb or race bike out of your local newspaper or off gumtree for commuting. Deffo don't wanna be commuting on a trials bike, I hate riding to the train station on mine and that's not even half a mile away from my house!
  20. Swaggg, looks smart mate! Get some HUGE risers on it and it will be even better

Good vid mate, interesting to see a mix of bmx inspired moves whilst still keeping the big moves in there. I have never looked at Royal Roofs drop gap quite like that before, would be insane if the chap on the 26" tried for the wall just behind that - its deffinately do'able if he commits fully, from the looks of this video.
  22. That looks painful! Hope he gets better soon
