  4. I have also been cutting to a slope last night. Blunt hacksaw and a pencil. Irritatingly cut it 1-2 mm too high. So got the grinder out haha
  5. I also have space for 1 coming from oxford
  6. well no, that clearly isnt true, just look at the pictures above to see... but yes, in terms of strength, light weight is a bonus
  7. okay well what is the tgs equivalent of the skye then?
  8. okay, well it has been established that inspireds are good bikes, but for the same kind of money, do you remember the koxx boxx? loads of frame technology, R&D, and i doubt any of them lasted over 6 months...
  9. Also in regards to light things being shit that is simply not true. A well designed piece like middleburns can be both light and strong. It is the general shit quality light stuff which is crap buy the components you know you can trust. I used to destroy forks but trial tech ones have removed that annoyance but are still reasonably light. It's all about looking for the better designed parts
  10. It's all portsmouth and fareham but yeah an awesome all round
  11. Well that is nice to hear but until you start bringing out competitively priced frames and forks you can't really say that they will stand the test of time as these are the components that require the most research and development to avoid failure
  12. I used to like these too but they are actually terrible. Dont use gloves. Let the callous' build then cut them back with a razor after you have been in the shower. Have a dedicated razor. You won't want to use it on your face afterwards. Hard grips are good like the ancient mbuk grips. But the trial tech foams are very nice i have been using the thin ones for quite some time now and they are doing well but when they get wet from sweat they do get slippery so some talcum powder or chalk could be good. Don't moisturise just let them get hard and manly. The ladies won't thank you for it though...
  13. That was pure awesome looks like TRA is getting on okay with titanium then

  17. Hey guys, what is the best way to strip an aluminium frame back its raw finish, as intend to polish it up. nitromors, caustic soda? whats best, whats meant for what? Also, do i need to keep bolts and things in the threads to prevent sizing issues later on? or does it not matter?
  18. was really good luke. some great riding in there, so smooth!

Could it be frame flex or just needing a bleed. Brand new brakes are rarely bled correctly
