  1. I really really enjoyed that, love your style and the riding was quality. Keep it up, Alun
  2. Done this doesn't seem to work. Should I look for longer?! Anyway, have a good look around to make sure there's no cracks, then grease up (or you can use the plumbing tape) the bb threads and get them nice and tight Alun
  3. www.myspace.com/centreoa Alun
  4. What are you, crazy? Wear your socks inside out for a few days, should sort it Beware thoug, this can resolt in more than one pregnant pencil sharpener in some instances. Alun
  5. I've fallen loads in front of mates and people in the street, the most embarassing probably my bunnyhop-to-frontwheel-to-floor hehe. By the way what where you doing riging in your house?! Alun
  6. Gutted yeah, be glad though as it could'ave been far worse! Sweet bike too, get a better lever though hehe Alun
  7. 1.42 too! I liked the vid, seem pretty good for 2months of riding to me Alun
  8. The echo's are lunar's sold under their name from what I understand. Let us know how they are after a few weeks riding How much did they cost? Alun
  9. Class! Anyway, you shouldn't not tighten the bolts just because the threads could strip in my opinion. As long as the bolt is in correctly, and the threads are clean, theres no reason to risk injury with the bolts not done up tightly. As long as you dont go crazy with them they should be fine. Alun
  10. Make a custom exhaust for it, I made one with a vitamin pot and tin can, sounded quite abit louder, but was pathetically big though! Could route it to the back and have it central? Alun
  11. The ACS comes in 16t Alun
  12. Are those the titanium ones? They look really good, funky colours too! No idea on strength though sorry. Alun
  13. Please tell me you're being sarcastic! I made one out of a cotton reel: And it worked! Alun
  14. Grind = To roughen the rims braking surface with an angle grinder. Tar = Tar! Applied to the rim it gives more friction. People do these to give better locking power from the brake, but compromises modulation. Personally I'd say don't bother doing this for a while, as it is much easier to work with the brake after having experience with it, and you will be better at understanding what happens when you change things etc. And I use 1 finger by the way! Alun
  15. Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Electronics! Dropping Further Maths before A level though, because I'd have 5 Further Maths exams to do in the summer, and only have one shot at them! A level sucks, because you have to study to do well. Did well at GCSE with no studying, now im struggling! I really should revise for the exam tomorow. But I'm a lazy bum. Alun
  16. I want one. I also want it to fit my 05 maggie. And I want £28! Are there any longer lever blades out there for the 05/06 versions? All the ones I've seen are for pre 05. Nice review too. And don't ask why I'm up so late/early because I don't know! Alun
  17. Just don't get any on the pads/rim Alun
  18. Instead of tightening one side, loosen the other. Here's what I find works : Ride the bike around a little, this is to make sure the chain is at its longest, it stretches out a tiny bit when your riding. Loosen the wheel bolts, then set the chain tension roughly and center the wheel with the chain tugs. Tighten the wheel bolts loosely (loosely in this case means just untill you feel resistance, or about an eigth of a turn after everything is pulled together), do a few backhops, then re-center the wheel. Now, check the chain tension. Spin the cranks as there may be a tight spot. Loosen the wheel bolts again and set the tension that you want by turning both chain tugs the same ammount, this way the wheel will remain straight. Tighten the wheel bolts loosely, do a few backhops, then you'll probably find the chain is looser, so tighten it a bit with the wheelnuts still done up loosely before tightening the wheelnuts. You may loose tension after a while for a number of reasons, such as the chain stretching, or bolts moving. I find that this gets less and less likely to happen after time. When I first got my bike the wheel used to move to one side when I was kicking hard on the pedals, and I had to re-tension the chain and center the wheel a number of times, but every time it moved less, and in the end stopped. Renember to set up the brakes again after moving the wheel too! Hope I've helped and that you sort the problem. Alun
  19. I read that wrong and thought you said the 20" was carbon! For £120 haha Alun

It is, it's in the agreement when I signed up for the block checker. There may well be viruses or whatever that use this, but 'Block Checker', which me and some of my friends have, sends out messages something like 'find out who's blocking you with...' It's how they promote their product. Alun

On a more serious note I'd like to offer my sincere appologies for the above post. I crossed the line, and was immature not to have thought about what offence it might have caused, so, sorry folks. Alun

Im sure you can tag email addresses as junk mail somehow. I did before, don't ask me how though, I played around for a while and it just happened! The block checker isn't a virus, it's a free program you can download to see if someone is online or not, always pops up in conversations randomly, thats how they advertise. Alun
