Hey Andy (good seeing you on Sunday in Pompy for that short period). Yeah I know to stay away and I am doing. Went out with her and some mates last night and basically we agreed to have absolutely no contact with each other for a while. I know I said I wanted her but I'm not a complete moron and would never get physically involved with anyone who was engaged, or even in a serious relationship of any kind. And I'm fairly sure her fella could and would batter me senseless.

I've only ever sold small parts e.g. disc brakes and I've always used Royal Mail as once it's out of this country it's in safe hands. You could try parcelforce, at least you'll be able to get a postage quote online for it and arramge for them to collect it from you.

Yup, right ankle twice. First time took me 2 months just to be able to start walking on it again. Second time was about 6 weeks till I was back on the bike (albeit somewhat iffy) If it is torn or 'snapped' I'd say leave it at least a month without walking on it.

Voted! Just to give some clarification on the hub/price. Hope ProII trials are great and come in at your lowest price bracket, they have a proven reputation. Chris King hubs are also great, and are known for there engineering precision and quality. Both are proven manufacturers in there respective markets and so if you were to release a hub claiming 144 engagements it's build quality and reliability would need to be proven before you could justify a higher price tag.

I have a big tub of mineral oil, about 2 litres of the stuff. Paid £2.99 at an Auto shop. Just needs to be mineral brake/clutch oil. (a.k.a NOT DOT fluid)

I've done it several times. Just make sure the new hub has the same flange sizes and spacing from the centre. a.k.a make sure the spokes are the correct length for the new rim/hub combo.

F.Y.I I think only 2 pawls engage at a time to create more engagements. i.e. 2 engage with the ratchet, the other 2 are offset about half the distance of a tooth on the ratchet, thus meaning they only have to travel half the distance before engaging. Then when they do engage the other 2 are now half way there. Not as strong as all 4 enageing at once but I think it's a fairly common setup in spring and pawl type freehubs.

Apparently controls are cramped and it's rather uncomfortable for gaming. Supposed to be good for media on the go though. They've been about for a while (not for sale but to look at online etc).
