Others posting about how its gay to talk about gel - now that is not relevant. And yes i'm fooking proud to have got her number. I don't usually do that sort of thing and if i can slip it in to conversation i think i should be able to, without fear of being knocked for it. After being with the same lass for 6 years then getting some attention from a lady feels pretty good, of course you want to tell people. But in all honesty it was just an example of how the appearance of your hair can make a difference. After reading my last post i see how it could have been slightly misunderstood. The last sentence (about hooking up with the previous girl) i was just comparing her to the new one. The new girl i met yesterday keeps texting me loads and won't stop (must be the hair), but i was honestly scared about her being similar to the last girl i met as the last one said "I ruined her life". It was a real pain in the ass and i don't want to go through it again. It wasn't a case of just saying it for no reason. Also "hooked up" = "met up".......e.g. I hooked up with my friends last night....although i did boink her twice too!

I don't think you can say its gay to talk about hair products. This is not 50 years ago when you didn't have to worry about appearance as much. Today girls tend to prefer a male who is groomed, but a little rough around the edges. Nothing wrong trying to attract attention from the opposite sex is there? For example today at the library i slipped a note to a girl with my number, then left like a bullet out of a gun. She text me back saying she'd love to meet up and said "P.S. I really like your hair!" I think its an example showing that the right style can make a difference. Neil P.S. She just text me again, she's totally obsessed!!! Hey Its always hard to get the right gel! I'd have to suggest "Brylcream" to you when i tried for a similar effect. There are loads of different types, just need to find one that suits you. I think the one you're looking for is wet, creamy and white, - always smells nice too! Another thing is, if you are going for the wet look, why do you just no use the cheap £1 per pot gel? You must think through things a bit. 1) I had my own bike, which is MUCH more important. 2) I would have had to pick up my bag metres away, which again is more important, as it has all my tools, phone, wallet etc. 3) There were 3 guys, one i could have taken no problem - he was tall but skinny. However, one of the other lads was huge, if anyone here knows Jamie - this bloke was around his build. The third guy was large but fat. 4) I don't know any DJ forums etc. 5) I know you didn't accuse me of not "being arsed", but i will always attempt to do the right thing. I've helped stop shoplifters etc before and don't have a huge problem with confrontation, but feel a bit offended for a person to make that comment with no source to back it up. I was out just for a 30 min session and some chav started talking to me. He asked how much the bike was worth. I told him a few hundred then asked him where he got it from. He told me it was stolen from Bournemouth and he now has it (in Portsmouth). The spec was "interesting".....bit of a cross between XC and DJ IMO. Mavic X317 rims Marrazocchi forks (red) Hope discs with small rotors Single speed Hub didn't sound clicky but didn't get a good look. BUT, the frame MAY have been a genuine Santacruz Chameleon in white. If you know anyone who has a missing bike of similar spec you need to get down Portsmouth! I didn't get a phone number, but told him to keep coming to my riding spot and i'd see if i could find him a buyer. Peace out Neil

Purple Turtle? The one in Reading is "alternative", not really my scene, but we go in there occasionally for some emo chicks! Bit of a laugh. I don't think we got into the one in Oxford, but i assume it would be similar. Also we went to this ice cream parlour which was open at night and chripsed some girls in there - easy game.

Mate....don't go to pizza hut!! If you think she is a "keeper", spend a little money on taking her to a nice fancy place.....not pizza hut! Buy a glass/bottle of wine and a beer for yourself. Make the most of the night as it will set such a good foundation for the future. Also turn up at her house a bit dolled up with flowers . If you don't like her much ....take her to pizza hut, then to the pub, bosh her at the end of the night, leave in the morning, don't call her. Sorry i've not got any stats Quigz, BUT.....i've seen a fair amount of topics on snapped MOD frames, but not on stock frames. Ergo i would say the stock frame would be up for a bit more abuse. Sorry for not helping more , why are you getting rid of the limey anyway?

As i'm trying to avoid revision i'll share a recent one. It was a few weeks ago, I went out with an old friend who had her sister down. My friend told me that her sister liked the look of me, so i tarted myself up and went for a drink with them. When i got to the union, there were 7 girls. I felt a lil overwhelmed, but thought go for it boy! So i busted my moves on a few and they were all competing for my attention. They got my playing touch cup and i didn't keep an eye on the amount I was drinking, so I just kept going. I figured i had the best chance with my mates sis so focuesed my drunk attention on her. In the end myself my mate and her sis go looking for a club, but as it was late none were open, so the three of us go back to my mates place. We're sitting down and i'm making cheeky eye contact with her then...uh ohhh......i convulsed.....sick came up and i swallowed it......and again.....and again. They both look at me and i blurted out "I GOT THE BURPS", then......sick came up again, but i had my mouth open....it dribbled and i rushed to the toilet, i was sick everywhere! Went back into the livingroom sat down, picked up my phone and pretended to talk to my housemate who needed picking up. The girl i was cracking onto was cracking up in the kitchen, literally on the floor.....I felt stupid and just wanted to leave. So as i was leaving the building i couldn't find my way out.....i was still feeling so sick. More sick came up and i threw up outside somebody's apartment and then all over the floor and their door. I was so drunk i just left it. The next day my mate asks me if i was sick on the way out as somone complained and sent letters to every apartment saying this is not tollerated. I felt bad and surprisingly i never got with my mates sis.....maybe next time! Neil
