  1. If you can get hold of one the Shimano XTR carbon boosters are supposed to be really stiff
  2. The majority of trials forks are somewhere around 400mm (sometimes a little more), so go for the 400mm ones.
  3. That's rather nice indeed, glad to see you've got a bike again
  4. http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/WTUK MJCycles-Matt and MJCycles-Naive both have him in. Have a look at the rest though, they're all good edit: ben beckett -> the first song in the vid is 'spaceman' by 'babylon zoo'
  5. WOW, the biker mice from mars ruled! I had all the toys and videos n stuff, aaaah good days
  6. Chris King hubs aren't designed for trials though, they're just good hubs, but you do have a point. Most cheaper hubs just can't stand up to the abuses of trials, so if I were you I'd play it safe and just get an xc, or a proIIt if you have enough
  7. Well it's not a discipline but you must know what it is. The kind of thin twisty trails, incorporated in most types of riding i.e. xc/freeride/downhill. I'm sure it's all falling into place now
  8. I only learned taps the other night, so I'm not going to measure mine for a while or I'll go into a deep state of depression

    Onza's

I'm probably being blind but what new parts are there? Just cranks?
  10. No idea if they're any good or not but I think you can get onza sticky fingers tyres in 20" rear. Then again you've probably already got them on your bike. So basically, ignore me
  11. SPD's 4tw!!! To whoever asked about tyres, my 2.1" panaracer xc pro's are spot on
  12. Yeah they look a bit thin n' wierd. Looks good apart from that though
  13. Looking good, I like I see you've kept your mod forks too
  14. Fair point, but on a piano you kinda do the same thing with both hands don't you, whereas on a guitar you'd want to use the hand that you have the most control of for holding the plectrum so that it would help with the more intricate riffs etc That's all guess work btw as I don't play either
  15. He was on about the hi-fi I think, the word 'adamant' at the start was his answer to which one he'd choose (I think)
  16. Yeh man, might cost a little more than the £40 of mine that I want back but it's for the principle of it
  17. I'd go with the A1 short. I've only ridden Dave's a couple of times but it feels really nice. They look nicer too imo. Also I've heard of quite a few people who haven't got on with the hi-fi geo e.g. ali c. That doesn't necessarily mean that you won't get on with it, but I'd still go with the A1.
  18. Seconded, I have one of those too. Battery life is loads long enough and they're very pretty too
  19. Nice bike The thing that impressed me the most though is how you've managed to colour code it with the 4 small bowls which prop up your N64
  20. XTR feels about the best to me so I can't really advise you on the lever, but I have that Odyssey Linear slic cable on my bb7 and it's reet good so definately go for that. For that price as well you can't really go wrong
  21. Sounds like a plan, you couldn't go via shirokage's house could you please
  22. Adamant A1's look really nice so I'd say go for black

    Shirokage

I bought a helmet off him, the cheque cleared at the start of July but I still haven't received the helmet. Does anybody know him that can make him send it? Or should I just resort to going to the other end of the country and petrol bombing his house? I'm guessing that I'll probably never get it now anyway, just thought I may as well see if anyone knows him. edit: seems he had all his stuff pinched and just forgot to get back to me. He has now sent me a full refund, sound bloke
  24. Wowee, it looked high from on the floor but it looks even higher from those pics. I'd have definately fagged out if I'd have been doing it :$ Well done to the both of you
