  1. As has been said mate, might be due to the fact the spokes are sitting further out from the centre line of the rim, they're more up right than a rim without offset spoke holes and as such are closer (hitting) the brake calliper.
  2. Shimano/Raceface type BB tool and by the look of it its a square taper BB axle, so you'll need a square taper crank extractor if you dont have one. RaceFace BB tool Crank Extractor

Looking at the site last night, the links for entry aren't on the site anymore so are they fully booked already
  4. I really enjoyed that, had an old school style of riding to it, lil sketchy in places but some large stuff too .... stock with a seat
  5. Personally i prefer a cleaner, tidier looking frame and i'd certainly pay more for a cleaner, better thought out and put together frame than i would spend money on a Koxx (which although i think are incredibly nice, seem engineered and different, just for the sake of it...) Just get someone to test one and put it through its paces to see how it stands up to a challenege
  6. Well that looks a bit nice Didn't think Univega were still around?!
  7. Looks absolutely amazing, time and detail thats gone into that Sounds like you've had an awesome time too, i know what you mean by remote too, i stayed on Quadra fora a few days the first time i went to British Columbia, not a lot going on but i guess thats part of the appeal..
  8. Sorry to sound like a cynic, but how did you come to this statement?
  9. Ok for the money you'd be sold on good graphics?! Surely how the bike is put together? the quality of the welding and machining? design features? Personally i think i looks really quite nice, rear end of a stinger and the seat tube area of a Hydroxx, the mod seat stay yoke area looks like it uses something similar to the blue Caisso frames?
  10. It could be a good retro build, but the question is, is it worth spending money on?

Josh i'm considering the mini dh races, Tic has done one and was egging me to do one a few moths back, could be fun?
  12. Its advisable, especially on a disc mount, but is also dependant on the alloy configuration itself. What series Alu is it?
  13. Aye, twas brutal and lacked finesse, but had balls by the bucket load! Love the tune too
  14. My dear god thats sexy, tyre is genius, nice subtle little mod that i bet makes it ride a million times better
  15. We went to some spot off the right of Haytor, take the road that basically doubles back on yourself before Haytor car park, was pretty good Road bone later on, but was silly windy. Was dry too, no issues at all. Pretty damn good ride really.
  16. You've got one of the best natural spots in the country on your doorstep, Dartmoor. Myself Joe Seddon and Ben Johnson were out there today, don't think i could get bored of the place, lots to ride for pretty much all levels. Just get out and explore
  17. Why would you spend that much money on a 2kg TMS when you can spend half that on a Deng frame with the same/similar geo?
  18. Even stranger how the try-all's cost even more, that lil logo costs a lot obviously.....
  19. I've got all day, but yeah might be an idea to wait until Monday Cheers Andy. Pads sorted, although not sitting flush with the piston.
  20. Should have thought of that myself, will give it a crack. At least i'm not the only one, will ring Tarty tomorrow, cheers Yup i have indeeds. If no joy with lubing the nipple i'll let you know.
