  1. Is that Brady hollow in yeovil? if thats the main line down the left, i did exactly the same thing and knocked myself out about 7/8 years ago, good times! Seriously dude, wear a lid no matter how big you're going or what you're doing, you'll mess up the smallest thing and smash your head and well..........
  2. Well if an Skf doesn't work then get a Truvativ Gigapipe DH, i picked up a brand new one from ebay for just over 20 quid.
  3. 1. 74 Kingz/Rohloff. 2. KMC 510/710 chain 3. Heatsink yellows or whites, preferably Try-all (Koxx) Browns 4. Truvativ Gigapipe or SKF BFR300
  4. I believe that's exactly what i said to you earlier Oh Good times!
  5. He was getting about 43" the other day to rear, monster! The brakes work so so well.
  6. If its no lighter, stronger or able to offer any other benefit apart from making your wallet lighter then how can the cost be truly justified, i guess there will be the minority that will buy it purely because its pimp....... so make a disc one!
  7. Got to agree mate, love the way my brake performs, as good as when i had heatsink reds, but the sound is horrific comparatively. i'd give up my lefty for some more Red pads.
  8. But Steve its every bike i've ridden with Heatsink Cousts have been inferior to the genuine article. No question about it there is a difference. I'm not doubting he says that the material he sends you is the same, but the pads just aren't.
  9. Manfred Mann- Blinded by the light Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  10. Ok, i stand corrected, there just seems to be a marked performance difference between the two. In my opinion the best pads you sold aren't available any more, bring back heatsink reds!
  11. So the brake wasn't bedded in, you heated the pads right up by dragging them down a hill and then rapidly cooled them with water? I never understood why people do this, surely this glazes pads?! Putting water on first, drag the brake a bit. Cleans the pads surface, all the crap helps bed in the disc and then give it a good clean off after.
  12. My Koxx browns seem to be pretty damn consistent no matter the weather on a dead grind.
  13. But the Heatsink "Cousts" ones are ok, never been overly impressed with them on bikes I've ridden.
  14. He will be there, should be coming down for a few drinks the night before the ride.
  15. Some good stuff there mate, nice to see you managed to use some of the footage from plymouth, at least you didnt use the erm out takes from that day... Now its on vimeo i shall definitely be downloading that ride soon please... friday?
  16. Some good stuff there mate, nice to see you managed to use some of the footage from plymouth, at least you didnt use the erm out takes from that day... Matt the last line, with the 360 drop is a play park in Devonport, Plymouth.
  17. Ermm...... i ride with Rowan a fair bit....
  18. He's a bit of a beast, bit obvious who he rides with a lot!
  19. That 18" bike is an absolute weapon, i swear both Drei and Joe ride it better than their proper bikes I really like the yellow Joe sprayed his 320, bit different and he masked off some details nicely.
  20. You'll need a real brake then The effect is one of the most responsive 24's i've ridden, its just plain fun!
  21. Aye its been all right Ran Magura Louise Fr which was really nice, worked just as well as the BB7, but then its more prone to damage and more exspensive. Personally i'd go fora BB7 every time.
  22. I'm guessing thats because 74 Kingz are no more? There are a few floating around in for sale thread, put up a wanted topic, i did and got a few offers.
  23. The wheel being out of dish isn't going to stop the disc hitting the frame. By the sounds of it its most likely the hub spacing is for a frame running snail cams on the inside of the dropouts, like has been said and as suck the rotor now sits too close to the frame. Do as some lad did and get some washers on your hub bolts and space it out a bit
  24. Little wheels will be making a show, brakes dont work so this should be fun.
