What are the dimensions of the box?
-
You must have some serious issues.
-
Check some brokers, there's bound to be some in the UK. 100 quid seems mad, a broker should sort DPD/GLS out for around 20. Those are the cheapest carriers for the EU. It's all about the size of the box. Disassembling the bike as much as possible to keep the box size down helps. If you're packing it into a 140cm box and just removing the front wheel + handlebars then that shipping quote seems about right. Keeping it under 120 will help a lot and it's best to find a box which is just frame length (105cm). A 105 x 65 x 30 box should ship as a standard, not oversized parcel and will be big enough for a 26" bike.

Properly chuffed with this purchase. 1 grand new, got it for 120. Fits perfectly and is in really good condition. Still need to get a lot of clothing to meet safety regulations but once I do, I'll be able to visit our track for free every two weeks and drive as much as I want.

To be honest, there is no need to get a BB7 over a BB5. The BB5 with an SD7 lever correctly set is stupidly powerful. You won't ever need a more powerful brake period.

Wow, you've actually destroyed a GoPro. Hats off to you sir! Car sounds brilliant, love the I5 / V10 sound.

Oh my f**king god that hurts could be a great stem brand name.

My friend drove me around in his Z06 Corvette and I absolutely loved it. I didn't know the yanks could make such a good car. It's so beautifully simple - no electronic nonsense, just a massive pushrod V8 mated to a manual gearbox and an LSD. It's got a stock exhaust yet it sounds like an absolute beast. Such a great package so long as you ignore the interior quality. Me approves

That would definitely work if it weren't for my business which I run from home and which requires a lot of space. Not relocating it with me would require even more commuting since I'd have to travel to work every day during the rush hour. That's the biggest problem here, if it weren't for this things would be so much easier and moving out would be a no brainer. Cheers for that, much appreciated. Must say I haven't considered this in the long term.

To be blunt, I'm wasting my life. Having come up with a list of things which need to change, I noticed they all depend on one thing which isn't going to happen any time soon - me moving out. Can't do that because of my dad and because I require a lot of space which I'm not going to be able to find elsewhere without having to rent an apartment and a small warehouse. That I cannot afford. I'm fed up living in the countryside away from my friends and life in general. I'm fed up with the commute - the traffic is getting worse every year to the point that I visit the nearby city maybe twice a week as opposed to 5-15x a week a few years ago. I need to quit motorsport - easier said than done when you've been at it for 6 years straight and can't stand the sight of your mates doing something you love but can't do yourself. I need to start working out properly but I don't have the motivation to do this alone and am not willing to spend 2 hours in the car each day just to work out with my friends. Lastly, I need to be among motivated people and that's not here where it's so quiet and empty you could spend a whole day not seeing another human being. Need to take action but I have a feeling that whatever approach I take, I'm going to be in a worse position overall than I am now.

Whether there is a hub that good for trials like Hope SS?
Greetings replied to Clerictgm mk2's topic in Trials Chat
Just get an old King hub and you'll be fine. -
Cheers, was interested in an unbiased opinion. I've seen so many accidents (well, perhaps incidents as you call it because the drivers just randomly lose control) from the GT3 group that I'm beginning to hate them with a passion. They're wrecking my friends cars all the time. Too much money and not enough skill. This is how bad they are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoKtgRhHkJk

To the racers out there, who would you blame here: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=388937491254520&set=vb.292475310900739&type=2&theater I'm biased due to a number of accidents being caused each round by GT3 drivers who have the skills of a 10 year old gamer when it comes to racing.

Not enough pics with your degree visible!

Some cool pics from a recent comp surfaced, shame they were taken with a Nokia 3210 Seeing these makes me wish we had a rallycross track nearby. Missus was sat on the passenger seat until she threw up 5 times during one run, thankfully with her mouth closed. Regardless, she got a trophy as a co driver

Got to agree with the interface - using an HG spline would give people more reasons to buy the cranks or the freewheel.

Great watch Adam! I'm wondering, how much does it add to the fun (if at all) that you're driving an open-top car?
-
You're asking for help and complaining about some legit answers you're getting. What's the point?

It'll work better on a smooth rim but works on ground rims as well.

If you ever wondered what a music video made by Ikea would look like then look no further. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y54ABqSOScQ Pretty neat for a "school assignment".

Use thinners instead, it makes the resin bond to the rim

~35 hours in. Problem: Now: Removed: And best of all everything still works Really enjoying this job.

Missus got hold of some epic hemp which has really brought us together. Not that we need it because everything is great but it makes us go into therapy mode and we gain a lot of amazing insight into ourselves. We've cleared up a lot of misunderstandings as a result and really bettered ourselves. I've also gained a lot of valuable insight into myself which could help me become a better person. Never experienced anything like this before, amazing how the mind can self-analyze itself given the correct circumstances. Annoyingly, many of our conclusions evaporate from the mind as we are forming them but those which have enough staying power to make their way onto paper are really helpful.
