    Touch Hops

A tap hop is not a touch hop, by the looks of things you're looking for taps. You'll find some in these vids: 1. Zoo Vid with Yao on the 2004 Python 2. Austria by Tra and Thomas O. 3. August18 by Tra Can't think of any others.
  2. About 3-4 people but not more. I usually just ride with one person.
  3. Is it me or can't the pictures be opened? Bike looks fine, rims look awful which is good because I was close to getting them. I mean they're supposed to be silver right? That's not how they look like on the Tryall website. Would be interested to see some different pics, preferably outside.
  4. Really one of the nicest mods I've seen in months
  5. Pretty much just more ground clearance. I ride an 18T sprocket with a 16T bash and get good chain protection and ground clearance (a bit too much really, can't hit a wall with my bash). The downsides of having a 16T chainring are that your chain will snap more easily. I'd go for 18 or 20 any time.
  6. a frightfully old 8mm allen key? edit: made out of iron (kind of makes more sense than if it was made of stainless steel)
  7. Did it. You need one screw making. Downsides: - Spongy lever - Pads need to be no further than ~1mm from the rim - Your rim has to be perfectly true - You might break your frame if you press the lever a bit too hard?
  8. Yes, it can be done at home. All you need is a container, good ventilation, lots of acid of some sort and a proper source of electrical current. Frankly speaking the process is so nasty that you want to keep well away from doing it yourself. I was at one stage close to making a small anodizing machine but the substances one has to work with are way too hazardous. My friend's had his frame anodized, no idea why one should want that done. Lacker is good enough. edit: you do realize that the term anodizing only refers to creating a thin layer of aluminum oxide and has nothing to do with colours? I think the only process which actually creates a colour layer on the metal is plasma coating?
  9. That was splendid! It's one of those videos that makes me want to go out and ride. Congratulations on keeping it creative smooth and interesting. Keep it up!
  10. Pass my 1st year at uni which I failed to do this year, find a proper girlfriend. Need no more.
  11. Alright people. I've been investigating the eagle claw bashring recently and have a few questions about it. First of all, this bashring slides onto the bb right? That means that you can't screw the cranks down hard enough and that will result in the taper getting damaged. Or do the Monty cranks have a tighter taper to stop this happening? Secondly, will the bashrings accommodate a KHE Collapse chain on a standard 18T screw on sprocket? And 3rd of all, the Monty cranks seem almost identical to the Tensiles. Does that mean the durability will be similar? Are they also made of 7005 aluminum? Really need a bashring with more grip and the Monty is the only one I can think of. Merry Christmas.
  12. Yes. Read through the forum, 90% of the people will say the long GU is one of the worst mods around whereas the short is very nice. Had both and fully agree with them. Just get a Team or something, -5mm bb rise will feel less different to the short GU than +30mm wheelbase on the long.

    New Bsxl Vid!

Great video! Half of it I've seen before but the stuff on that new Ti is crazy Looks like gravity doesn't apply to all riders, especially Germans. How did he do in the World Championships?
  15. I thought Anzo bought that yesterday? I'll make him aware of this topic.
  16. Worst colour combination possible IMO but in black&white it looks nice. Are the disc tabs strong on these frames?
  17. Nice one, stem looks a bit wrong?
  18. You'll be going to court for what you just wrote. So what if it's true, you know the rules Bike is ok, get it painted.
  19. That was really good. No drop gaps, smooth riding and the fact you invariably have a style. Inspiring

    .~

That's one awesome fork you've got there Why are you riding a monocycle Sponge? I thought you were into biketrials, by the looks of things you were quite familiar with a trials bike on one of the London rides this summer. These things are stupidly difficult to ride on
  21. Nice one, smooth creative and interesting
