  1. Thats the stuff. Although it's soo hard to force yourself into a routine of doing it. I know your just ripping it but some of us actually do it. The cold. No one comes out which is the worst. As long as it's dry ill go for a sesh. My feet feel numb for about an hour though. I tend to sweat and learn no matter how cold it is. But the darkness is the worst! -15 here we come.
  2. Man..! that manual of Carl's ruled ass. 10er to anyone who can find a manual better than that.
  3. Yeh man that was rather good. The filming was sweet as well. Like the fakie manual. Pitty there was only one.
  4. That was quite cool. Are you running a rear red tomac lever on the right?
  5. I guess that's why magnesium pedals don't sizzle when it's raining

    Cranks,

How are they different? Please enlighten me.
  7. You can get Pythons second hand on here. That IS the best place for bikes due to reliability and price.

    Cranks,

Aren't Gu and Zoo the same though.
  9. I got charged 12 pound for 3 threads. 4 pound each. They didn't want to do the fourth even though i said yeah it would be stronger. But they instisted that it didn't need doing. Few days later back wheel up a wall and the bolt just popped out. Shows how much they know. That was at a bike shop as well. Chatted to a old mate who's into engineering, looked at the job they done then to say that they really did suck. Waste of money on my side and i'm never going to that shop again.
  10. Dude have you rang tarty yet? They could help you to make a choice right there. As for being lighter try using the pedal to land on rather than the bash. It will be a quicker movement and look rather slick.

    Amazing Riding

I thought it was rather original. Well the first section that is.
  12. With not having a job now i end up building wheels but never really bothering to true them. As for the grease i use engine grease. Real thick black stuff. Doesn't disapear and works sweet apart from skatebaord bearings.
  13. It would have been worth the 20 pound just so you had some spares. Even if was cracked or snapped it would have doubled your money no doubt. Pete man, that 'description' spelling was poor. (sorry )
  14. I'd love to come as haven't ridden in a while. Got no money but if your driving through Gloucester (north of Bristol) then you can pick me up Slim chance though.
  15. Second hand is the way forward. To be honest i wouldn't bother buying the bike. Yeah it's not bad at that price to be fair but the products are un-compatible with other bikes. Also it most defiantly weighs 30lbs Chances are that (not knowing who or what your like) you will give trials up within 2 years. By that time this bike will be falling apart, you find a girlfriend, drive a car, no one else rides anymore or you just can't be bothered because it's too difficult. By that time it will then be worth 20 quid. On the otherhand a cheap not so bad second hand one won't get too boring, brake and won't loose you as much money when selling it. A nice bike in the first place would be rather cool but if it isn't what your into then you've lost out. So spend no more than 300 on a second hand bike and it will be sweet for a long while within reason. 300 isn't to bad if 200 will come back to you if you sold it. The people are here are cool so buying from someone should be hassle free Hope that helps and doesn't put you off.
  16. As if they didn't have enough development going on already.
  17. It is what he wants for it and if it hasn't been ridden harshly then somebody will be happy with it. Yes his selling ability is poor which will lightly make the bike unsellable on this occasion.

    Bmx Questions

You could try another seat, like a big padded one. Or really concentrate on your catching hand and catch the bars real early before they line up. Watch some of Edwin's, his hands basically never leave the bars. Or just do them Van style.
  19. Someones been taking advice from mikey aitken.
  20. Fair point. Although if you are landing on it that hard for it to 'keep snapping' then i don't think your bottom bracket will live very long either. Maybe go a bit a lighter. I'm not sure on what bash ring you should run now if you use it that heavily. Maybe ring tartybikes and see what they recommend. As a UCI on proberly won't do the job.
  21. Please take your flashy valve caps off
  22. It doesn't matter to much to what you are running. As long as it's 18t. To run a bash ring then you would have to remove the freewheel before putting your new ( echo? ) bash ring on. If you got a guard why not keep using that? What do you not like about it?
  23. I've got a Echo lite which comes with a bash already. I then bought some second hand cranks which had a rock ring on. So i was running both but decided to take the bash off. Now it's just a rock ring thats there. There is a little more protection with the rock ring as i side hop to the right. So no touching the sprocket there. Although pros and cons to both i believe either is a personal preference. I don't mind as they both can look cool. Running neither would also help as you would have to ride UCI style.
  24. Wasn't this topic about only the other week? or am i mistaken. Anyway to save some hassle on exact dates. 7 years at xmass in and out of trials and bmx, mod or stock but always riding something.
  25. I'm not a fan of creepy crawlers either. Well the front one is alright. But the rear, a bit ugly and weighs far to much. I like the Monty and Echo ones. Never using a creepy crawler on the rear again. (after it wears out)
