Really like the video. Riding is really smooth, and makes some of the rock lines look easy . Seems weird to watch a video without the constant noises coming from the magura. I like the song a lot as well. Does anyone know what it is?

Man thats shit, there is some really strange people about nowadays. I mean what was that all about using an Ak, is he some proper nut job? Talking of nut jobs what the hell is this all about: in the name of self defence. Somehow i don't think choking someone who pushes in a line in front of you comes under self defence . Was he the guy that did the show on how to have a fight in a pub or something? In some ways it's probably better being a calmer person than an angry one in a situation like that, as people like them don't give a toss what harm they do to you, or if you are left unconscious on the street. So it was probably better to just talk you way out of it then getting into some fully blown fight.

Like a clean and tidy desktop, as loads of icons get on my nerves after a while.

Thanks for that, next time i'm up there i will go and find them, as it looks like there is some good stuff to ride, and it beats riding the sea defences all day.

I liked the video, had a very easy going feel to it Definitely could see an improvement towards the end when you ride the zenith. Just out of interest were those rocks at the start in Hunstanton? As they seem familiar and so do a few of the other spots, and i have been to Hunstanton quite few times on my bike, but i haven't ever been on those rocks as i wasn't sure where they were.

Once made an r.e teacher leave a couple of years ago, well not personally but as a class. It wasn't though making fun out of her, but was just down to the fact that we kind of new she was a bit of a push over and that we could get away with things. It was more just random things that we did, like all standing up a singing the national anthem while she was teaching, or walking into class with hotpants on (can't say this was down to me). And in the end i think she had just had enough, and decided to leave. I don't know how all these dodgy people get a job in teaching. We once had an English teacher who had to be escorted of the school grounds. At first he seemed alrite but then he just started doing really wierd things. He refused to teach the A level students their work, and randomly skipped days off school. Someone told me that he was caught looking up girls skirts as well. He was our rugby coach for a bit until he was sacked, i can remember when he got all of our team (in year 8) to chase him and try and take him down, just now it doesn't seem so innocent

Think that is one of the only frames right now i prefer to my GU, looks very nice. How much is the frame? When it's built up, make sure you post some more pics

I really like the last two pictures of the sidehop, impressive stuff, seems like you drew quite a crowd I'm no photoshop expert, but is there no way of slightly brightening them without reducing the quality or making them look dodgy, as the the top pictures are good but just a bit too dark?

And don't forget clocking how many women stare at you, or men, whatever the case may be I have actually got one of them lynx clicker things, i got the code and entered it in the website to get one sent to me. They basically are all the same design, unless you get one of the electric ones

I love the GU rides really nice, it's easy for backwheel moves and is really flicky and easy to chuck about. Did take me a bit of time to adjust to it though after having a t-pro for a while, with the high bb and all. The GasGas at the time was about £3700 i think, but as i had a Beta 80 at the time i traded it in against it, as the Beta was in good condition and signed by Dougie Lampkin, so the GasGas was a fair bit cheaper I have been interested in trials from the age of nine when i got my first trials motorbike, and later on i decided i wanted to start push bike trials as well so i started on a pretty cheap bike, but have just upgraded since. When you say get some bendy forks for the GU what kind of ones did you mean? Its got the onza forks on because i swapped the front end from my old t-pro on to it, so it saved me from buying new forks. Ye the Thump is great fun, had many a good time riding with mates that have them, just razzing around fields and over some jumps we have. Although i have had some pretty nasty crashes on it. I ended up highsiding at a go-kart track going into a corner at about 40mph, and recently i went out riding in the rain with the supermoto tyres on, it was great fun for a while with it sliding everywhere, but i lost the backwheel going round a corner and slammed my left knee into the swingarm and it has never been right since, it aches a lot when it's under pressure

Everytime i read that it makes me giggle at the thought of it, it would be one of them things you i would love to witness at someones party I have always been slightly tempted to try it, but the thought of swallowing parafin puts me off. It would be good to see some pictures

Just been out and got some pictures of all my bikes before it started to rain. And here they are: Haro F2, 04 Gasgas 125, Thumpstar with some upgrades and finally my Gu Typhoon short. My Gu I started out on motorbike trials and the Gasgas was my third bike. It is all standard apart from different renthal bars, lights removed, flexible mud guard and different gearing. We got the thumpstar to race around go kart tracks, as my dad knew a few work mates that race them, but he hasn't used it much so i get to ride it. The parts we put on were: barkbuster hand guards, sava supermoto tyres, Five-0 rear shocker, takegawa CDI unit to remove the rev limiter and we smoothed out the manifold for better gas flow. Got the Haro pretty recently and it's great fun, the bike is pretty cheap and cheerful, but it's my first bmx so i didn't really want to spend much. It's all standard apart from the paint job, which i did myself with a paint brush and airbrush And Finally my Gu, it's the short version. Its got a onza hog front rim with creepy crawler, echo 05 rear rim with creepy crawler, zoo cranks with vp pedals, eno freewheel, echo tough bar with hifi stem, onza lite guy forks, front magura louise disk and rear hs33 with brown koxx bloxxs.

Very nice, i like it a lot. Although maybe it's because i'm biased as i have one myself. Either way, they look awesome, and ride great. I ran mine with a booster for a while, but i didn't notice any difference, so i took it off as it was getting on my nerves everytime i wanted to change my pads or adjust my brakes.

That is very true, there was a guy on the news that basically said the exact same thing, that if you constantly annoy/hold/taunt deadly animals for a living it is inevitable that one day it will be the end of you. But the thing i don't get is that stingrays aren't even meant to be angry or violent, and they don't lash out at people unless they are really provoked. Like it has been said though if someone did put up another page about someone they care to mention, then i'm sure they would get the same responses because people can empathise with it, it's just that Steve Irwin was on tv and in the media a lot people started to learn more about him as a person and in a sense got to know him, so it makes it easier to feel more for him, if that makes sense. Either way though, it's still pretty sad.

I never used to be bothered about spiders at all but as i have got older they really scare me, and in some cases reduce me to running away and screaming like a girl :$. We have lots of ivy up the side of our garage and there are some huuuge spiders in there, i can remember when i was little i used to get a stick and wobble it on there webs so they ran out, aaa the ignorance of youth We have loads in our top bathroom as well because people always leave the window open so there is about 5 big spiders in there so i always make sure i shut the bathroom door at night so they don't go walk abouts. There is a website about the camel spiders here and it shows a wound from a man who had been bit by one: camel spider

Due to boredom over the holidays i decided to spray my frame and make it more unique, did seem like a good idea at the time . Although i am pretty happy with the end result, even though it is a bit tatty in places, but i can live with that. I have been thinking about taking the front brake off but i'm not sure yet, either way i'm definitely going to keep the rear on as i use it a lot on mini ramp stuff and just find it easier to do the stalls and for learning manuals, as too many meetings with the floor tends to get a bit tedious after a while. Anyway here it is, i hand painted the top tube and used an airbrush and stencils for the down tube.

I think Green Mile has got to be the worst for getting slightly emotional over, but to be fair i reckon in some ways it is a sign of a good film because it has the desired affect. I can never take films with dodgy actors in seriously though, or actors that have been in comedy films and then turn to more deeper and serious films.

I was wathching a programme about him yesterday, teaching people how to wrestle crocodiles, pretty crazy stuff. Comes as a bit of a shock really because when you seem him doing all the stuff like holding deadly animals it makes him seem slightly invincible. But, like it has been said at least he died doing what he loved R.I.P

Hey A Question A For Seniors/forum Administrators Etc.
A!! replied to ashby-trials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Seems like you are now I do know the feeling when you spend lots of time writing long posts and checking them carefully to help people, but i suppose you just have to be patient and go with the flow, and keep your posts good and helpful, and make the best of the topics in here. -
Ye they put a different ecu system in i think, which lowers the top speed to allow it to become legal, it can be removed though, but even so you will only gain several mph to your top speed. But when you do get to speeds above 200, aerodynamics becomes a lot more important as i'm sure you understand. So a bike would have a higher top speed when run on a dyno than if it were put on the roads or tracks. So when you get to a certain top speed of an engine, it is when the power output is being used to make up the losses to forces such as aerodynamic drag, friction created by tyres etc, so when you get to the certain point where the engines power is only being used to overcome these certain forces, so the bike will accelerate no more and will reach it's terminal velocity. This is why when you look at newer litre superbikes they have all tried various ways to make the bikes more efficient, like keeping the weight of the bike low by mounting the exhaust low down instead of under the seat for style, and creating fairings with aerodynamics in mind so the air flows over and off the bike and it's rider easily to reduce the opposing forces. Take a look at the Gsxr and you will see how it has been done. If you look at any bikes used to set land speed records they will all have a very low centre of gravity and will be shaped like a bullet, and have a very high shine and smooth finish in order for it to become more aerodynamic. Not forgetting the work that goes into the engine and components to gain more power. So for in order to try to get a Hayabusa to go that fast would be ridiculous, and it would end up looking like more of a land speed record bike with an enclosed fairing, and it would have to have masses of horsepower.

I have seen most of these videos, but they still amaze me. The speeds he reaches while avoiding traffic is insane. The fastest i've ever been on a bike riding pillion was about 135mph early in the morning on the way to Cadwell park, and that was scary, but then you watch these videos I was reading an interview on the ghost rider a fair while ago in a magazine, and he was talking about the thing that scares him most is injuring or hurting someone when he's filming these videos, which is pretty unbelievable when you watch them. Here is one of him police baiting Ghost rider. Reminds me of the speed cameras being burnt down by the "gatso terrorists" as many people were wrongly fined for speeding because the cameras were too inaccurate. So now the Goverment are going to change the the way they use gatso cameras and might be using special mobile roadside ones instead (where they sit in a van or car by the side of the road), which they claim are more accurate, in other words gives them a better change of using them as a money making scheme. Ye he does ride a Gsxr 1000 now, that bike is awesome can reach about 180mph standard. My dad has the K5 in yellow and black, lovely bike

Suppose it wasn't a bad attempt for a first go. I have seen many worse videos, usually down to over editing though. I'm not sure which way round you edited it, by this i mean fit the footage to the music or music to the footage. I always find i get a better result if i get the footage i want together, and them put them all in the story board (in the order of which you want them), then drag a few songs you think might work, and put them in the story board and watch the video with each song one by one, then pick the song that you think fits your video the best. After i have done this, i start to trim bits of the clips that i don't want, so the footage fits the rhythm of the music much better. It might seem a little back to front, but i got the best results from fiddling around with premiere pro doing this. I would say for the music, don't always go with your favourite band or song of the moment just because you like it, as the chances are it either won't fit the video or others won't like the song. Try and find more songs that you wouldn't usually listen to or are a bit different, and see how it turns out. And when you are searching for a song try and get one that suits the mood of the video. So for example if it's a video filmed in the night then something more melodic might work, or if it's a nice sunny day more of a feel good song might work, and if there is a lot of slow motion in it then try one with a slower tempo. By saying this i'm not having a dig by no means, i'm just trying to tell you what works best for me when i edit things.

I recently taught myself to wall ride (about 2months ago) after we we riding next to some derelict house and found some sheets of fencing so rested them against the house. I was doing it near vertical, but it was on my GU when you get to a certain angle you slip of the sidewalls of the tyre as they are creepy crawlers. But recently i took my bmx there and found it so much easier and lots more fun. Anyway here is how i learnt. Firstly like you have done you want to start with a fairly small slope, so you can get the feel for carving up the wall then coming back down again, but i would suggest it might be worth adding another pallet on to the end of it to make it 3 pallets long, as you bike is quite long and in order to get a good feel for it, i found doing a longer wall ride helps. Try using a slight kicker as well, as it tends to help because when you get slighty airborn before you hit the wall/slope, it makes it a lot easy and gives you more time to tilt the bike to the right angle before you land on the slope. You might find it doesn't help straight away, but when you start doing it at steeper angles you should find it does. I noticed you have tilted the two pallets inwards to each other, but you should find it easier if you have them running all in a line. This is because if you have them tilted, when you hit the second pallet it tends to flick you back off the slope/wall, but for learning you want to be able to wall ride properly before you start tilting them inwards. When you are airborn and about to land on the slope try and bend your knees and push the bike into the wall/slope, to keep it firmly put on the wall when you land, instead of bouncing back off it again. Once you ar on the wall/slope, i find it a lot easier if you ride it a slight curve so at mid point you are at you highest, and towards the end of the wall you are coming down. I was trying to upload a quick image of how to carve but imageshack is taking years to upload it, but if it does i will edit

Very true, i thought the same as you, it seemed like a good idea so all the introductions don't flood the forum, but people prefer to make a separate thread. Although it might work if it was made into a sticky, but who knows.

You shouldn't be worried about embarrassing yourself, everyone starts somewhere, and it's good to make a first video because then people can help you with tips by watching the way you ride, in order to help you improve. Also when you make a first video, after another year or so, you can look back at it and see how much you have improved, so i would say it's a good idea I can understand where you are coming from, if you feel to big for the bike you are riding, then it probably is a wise idea to try some others. If you don't really want to get a stock (26") bike then you could always look at some of the more longer mod frames (20"), like the zona zip: Zona zip But if it is a stock you are looking at then there are a lot more varied choices about. I can't say i have ever rode a BT Ninja, but from what i have read and seen, then it looks like it has a fairly extreme geometry with short chainstays, so you will either love it or hate it. So it would probably be a good idea to see if you can have a ride on one before you look into and buying one, but correct me if i'm wrong but the BT Ninja frames are very rare, and there were only nine made(i think). If you need a few more ideas on frame choices then take a look here Tarty bikes I have to agree as well you English is very good, and easier to read then some of the posts in here so If you are stuck on on moves or want ideas then the best place istrashzen
