buy a new frame?

fill the hole with blutac then just screw the brake on as normal

use a jubilee clip around the frame and mount to keep the brake in place.

or go to a m6

thats basically your options, as i believe they dont make helicoils that big to go from what you have to a 5

why the f**k would i buy a f**ked frame when i have a perfectly good control already helicoiled (correctly and done myself) and a leeson frame doing nothing. i have no need for your heap

dude, u screwed it. End of story. Strip the paint off directly around the hole, take iot to anyone with a welder (exhaust place comes to mind) get them to weld the hole fully, drill through and start again.

Or just an idea here, not 100% sure it'll work but how about getting these: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=11051&category_id=5

and then weld them onto your frame? surely that is a fix? (correct me if im wrong, as im planning on doing it to mine maybe)

Im currently using 2 bolts that go through to the other side of the frame, nutted on to keep them in place, looks ugly, but work nonetheless.
