New Year, New Bike

Hello all,

Been wanting to ride a bit of 26" again, and after building one of these frames up for a customer I couldn't resist any longer! This is pretty much the perfect frame for me - weight, geo, colour, disc only... and they are no longer being produced, so I couldn't miss out.

Built it up with some existing parts and some new ones, with durability and rideability in mind rather than going as light as I could.

Geo is: 1090, +45, 380, 72, full bike weight 9.08kg.

Spec for those interested:

You pimp motherf**ker!

Running a half link for that tyre or does she fit?

Fits :) Having no 4-bolt mounts (and thus brake booster) for the win ;)

Love that. Wouldn't personally go with double disc due to pad and spoke wobble but it's a pleasure to look at such a build.

Are the Trial tyres officially in production now?

Cheers man. Yeah, dual disc isn't for everyone, but there is no pad wobble when set up correctly.

Nah, we're still struggling to get the tyres, these I have had kicking around for a bit.

Stunner,,, when do you think them trial queens will be back in stock adam? And how do they compare to the rubber queen stabilty wise?

They feel pretty much the same as the Rubber Queen, maybe a teeny bit more stable.

Cheers for the comments guys! I'll try and get some video footage sorted sometime soon...

Regarding cost, I'm really not sure - the custom stuff would cost a lot, plus there's a fair bit of labour gone into tweaking certain bolts, the brake routing, etc - but I would guess at nearing £2.5k >_<
