They look well set up as standard, and if your mate has already replaced the forks, bars and stem then you are laughing. So it's another vote from me to buy it and ride it and replace any parts when you need to. You could fork out a tonne of money on an inspired and not find that riding style to suit you.

I know its off topic, I have a Monty 24" brakeless with great spec up for sale that's going cheap as it could be a great starting point into 24". Just another option you could look at :)

My mate cracked his at the seatstay (common on them) and got it welded up with a brace put in between the two seatstay tubes behind the seatube, like a built in booster!

Made it so much stiffer! He rides it brakeless too. Only got it welded up to get a bit more use out of it. Seems to be holding up so far!

Get one, they're fun little bikes. :)
