Just thinking the hub looks as though it is slightly shorter on the driveside than none driveside, would there be any problems with the hub being off center/out of dish? Well if you wasnt bothered about running disk, it'd mean you didnt have to modify the drive side as much, so you'd have a bit more adjustment for the sprocket to get better chain line, and the hub flanges would be more central so you'd get a stronger wheel build and you wouldnt have to dish it as much. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The dishing of it won't effect the strength of the build much at all. Being such a small, wide wheel as it is. But yes, i could have cut down the end cap on the non-drive side a bit, and allow about 5-10mm of extra room. Was it not possible to machine down the hub shell on the disc side as well? Pretty sure I've seen that done before... Could be wrong though.
