    • Sup TF, Where do you guys buy your MTB parts online nowadays? I was looking for a hub (135x10) and I checked CRC and Wiggle and it's the same shop, and only has some rando freehub body and no actual hubs :| Was there some sort of revolution, and now everyone buys from their LBS?
    • Hello new and old, mostly old, and some of those are f**king old, are there even new users here?  What happened trials? Can I have the last 10yrs squished into a paragraph or two?  I was on the look out to buy a new mod or a 2nd hand one last year or two, but never could find anything. How many brands are left, or is no one just bringing anything in to the country? I did ride my Triton last year a few times, and I rode a modest bit of trials around those covid times, but no furlough for me. I have been riding more in the past few years than other times, but it's mostly been solo. Life got more overwhelming as each year went on so I disconnected from everyone, so apologies if I've just kinda avoided anyone on here. Did the IMGUR issue affect the TF locals? It's a sad state of affairs and has affected many forums. I generally don't social media anything and haven't for years, but I do miss that era and sense of community. FB has always been shit for me, and yet there seems to be some community there, though I haven't followed it.
    • Gave it watch, nicely executed all those spots
    • Thanks a lot.   I bled my Shimano brakes in the past with Putoline HPX too. And you are right, it is easy cheaper and works great. I never had strong wandering point on my Shimano brakes (even with the delivered oil). Some of them were slight leaking though. I like the ergonomic of Shimano levers but prefer the magura callipers with their simple retention system.   I do not appreciate the lack oft stiffness of the 501 lever series. I found the m6000 much better in this regard. On drops, don't you hit your finger with the blade? Maybe you use Sugru? Let see if I pair an old SLX M666 lever to some magura callipers the next few months ... Hope for the best. I am still a big fan of the bb7 though, even with the quite spongy feel and difficult actuation. They are so reliable, easy to fix and install.
    • I'm using the MT501 levers, so with servo wave linkage. No wandering bite point. I've bled them with Putoline hpx 2.5, was way cheaper than Magura fluid at the moto store, and a bit thinner too, if that makes a difference. Of course with trials they don't get hot either. Chose these instead of the 6000 series Deore levers, as the 501 still use the thicker old style lever blade. Unfortunately they don't have the support bridge at the clamp for extra stiffness, but figured the stronger lever blade would be more beneficial for trials.
